0:05 Welcome everyone. Adam the Woo here.
0:05 Just following this yellow line here in
0:08 Louisville, Kentucky. It's my second
0:10 channel, daily blog channel. I'm in a
0:13 cemetery right now. It's freezing cold
0:17 in this cemetery here on the daily. Woo!
0:21 Why am I following this yellow line? And
0:24 why am I freezing? The reason I'm
0:26 freezing because I don't have a jacket
0:27 on. And all I have is this little
0:29 hoodie. I need a big thick coat, but all
0:31 I have on is this hoodie and no gloves.
0:35 And I am freezing cold in this
0:37 cemetery out here in Louisville,
0:46 Kentucky. It's so cold. I'm following
0:46 this line. They've drawn a line on the
0:50 ground leading to the grave of one of
0:54 Kucky's favorite sons.
0:56 If you've ever eaten fast food, then you
0:59 know who I'm talking about. I'm going to
1:01 tell you in a second, but I know you
1:02 already know because you've probably
1:04 already seen up here where I posted the
1:07 title of the video. But keep me
1:09 entertained and pretend that you don't
1:10 know and let's play a guessing game.
1:12 Kucky's favorite son, fast food. You
1:15 know who I'm talking about. And if you
1:17 don't, let me give you some information
1:19 right here.
1:28 information. The premises are under
1:28 surveillance by private security
1:31 personnel. They have security out here
1:33 at this cemetery. Here's a piece of
1:35 paperwork letting you know where I am.
1:38 The Cave Hill Cemetery. Cave Hill
1:42 Cemetery. Right there. That's where I
1:44 am. Let me put the information back so
1:46 that other people that come out here can
1:48 be informed.
1:50 right
1:56 there. Speaking of security, when I came
1:56 in the front entrance and I parked my
1:58 van over by the grave I'm going to show
1:59 you in a minute, there was actually a
2:01 security guard asking what I was doing
2:03 out here. And when I told him I was
2:05 coming to this particular grave, he
2:07 said, "Okay, that's good. We've actually
2:09 had some thieves out here recently that
2:12 have stole some of the bronze toppings
2:15 to some of the cemetery pieces. Some of
2:18 these over here, we have some thieves
2:19 out here. Can you believe people will
2:21 come to a cemetery and actually steal
2:24 things off the gravestones and the
2:26 markers? That's definitely a shame. Now
2:29 they have security at the front gate
2:31 coming into the cemetery. But you are
2:33 allowed in here. All you have to do is
2:35 just let them know where you're going.
2:38 Follow this line till it ends. It ended,
2:41 which can only mean one thing. That's
2:44 right. Kentucky Fast Food. You know who
2:48 it is. I'm getting hungry just thinking
2:50 about it. I never been hungry in a
2:52 cemetery before. There's a first time
2:54 for everything. That's the reason I'm
2:56 showing you
3:06 this. It's the grave of Colonel Sanders
3:06 right there. Colonel Sanders. Have you
3:10 ever eaten at a KFC? That's Kentucky
3:12 Fried Chicken to you and me. Well, if
3:14 you have the man who created the empire
3:17 is buried right there here in Kentucky,
3:20 Louisville, Kentucky, and this is his
3:23 grave. I thought it would be very
3:24 interesting to come out here and show
3:26 you where this guy was actually laid to
3:30 rest right here next to his wife
3:33 underneath that gravestone and this
3:35 monument that has been created for the
3:37 man. Let's get an uplose personal view
3:40 with Mr. Colonel Sanders. Let's take a
3:42 look.
3:49 He's buried down below here with his
3:49 wife. His wife also made this bust of
3:52 him before she passed away. He passed
3:55 away first. She created the bus which
3:57 became placed here when they buried him
3:59 and then years later she was buried
4:02 here. So now he's buried next to his
4:04 wife right here. Over here is actually
4:06 his daughter as
4:14 well, Margaret Josephine Sanders. She
4:14 died in 2001. She was the daughter of
4:17 Colonel Sanders and Josephine King
4:20 Sanders. So, his daughter is actually
4:22 buried right next to him and his wife. I
4:25 believe he was married twice. I think
4:28 the daughter could be incorrect in this.
4:29 Maybe you guys could Google some
4:31 research or maybe if you're an expertise
4:33 on Colonel Sanders more than I am, you
4:35 could tell me that maybe his daughter
4:37 was not the daughter of his past wife,
4:40 the future wife. I think it was the
4:41 first wife. I could be incorrect in
4:43 that. Don't hold me to it. My brain is
4:45 not functioning correctly because it's
4:47 very cold out here. But I thought since
4:50 I was in the Kentucky area, Louisville
4:52 area, passing through Louisville,
4:54 Kentucky, that I would stop off here and
4:56 show you the grave.
5:11 Very cool. I've seen a few other graves.
5:11 I've been to a lot of different grave
5:12 from some famous people with
5:13 gravestones. And I've always noticed
5:16 that usually a popular grave that either
5:18 either a person that's a celebrity or a
5:21 lot of military people will have these
5:24 pennies placed all around. Dimes and
5:28 pennies. Do you guys know what the
5:29 significance of the dimes and the
5:31 pennies are? Is it a military thing or
5:34 is it just something that people just
5:35 leave for either people that that they
5:37 are they are in admiration of if they
5:40 admire them? I'm really curious about
5:42 what the pennies mean. I visited Jim
5:45 Vney's grave about a year ago if you
5:48 remember correctly. He was a big
5:50 childhood I was a big childhood fan of
5:52 his, one of my idols, Jim Vney. And I
5:55 actually left a penny on a piece of
5:56 paper, left him a little note. I paid my
5:58 respects to Jim Barney. And you can see
6:00 people here have paid their respects to
6:03 Colonel Sanders as well. Also, I was
6:05 going to wondering I was curious. Man, I
6:08 really cannot functionally think
6:10 correctly. It is so cold out here. But I
6:12 was
6:14 curious, do the pennies have anything to
6:16 do with these symbols? What are these
6:19 symbols? Do you guys know what those
6:21 are?
6:27 Leave some comments down below if you
6:27 know what signals those are. I really
6:29 have to say I have not communicated
6:32 correctly in this vlog very well because
6:34 it is freezing. My lips are numb. My
6:38 hands are numb. So, I probably probably
6:41 am not very coherent today, but it
6:43 doesn't matter. Wanted to show you this.
6:45 The grave of Colonel Sanders right here.
6:48 Pretty cool. Pretty cool stuff. Pretty
6:51 neat. Oh, also going to let you guys
6:53 know, did you know that Colonel Sanders
6:55 was basically flat broke till he was in
6:58 his mid60s? I think he was
7:02 1965ish around there before the KFC
7:06 empire took off. So just imagine that he
7:09 was at retirement age and he was flat
7:11 broke and then all of the sudden we have
7:14 the Colonel. Everybody knows as the
7:16 Colonel. I mean he existed for 65 years
7:19 before that. But what you and I know as
7:22 the colonel did not begin until
7:24 retirement age for most people. So just
7:27 think about that. Never get up. Give up.
7:29 Never get up or give up or get down. If
7:31 you're going to get down, make sure you
7:32 get up. But don't give up on your dreams
7:35 because you might be an old man, a 65y
7:38 old guy before all of the sudden you
7:41 become a franchising fast food empire
7:45 guru like the Colonel. Pretty cool right
7:48 here. The Colonel. Let you guys go.
7:50 Check down below for my
7:52 t-shirts. I'm gonna get back out of
7:54 here. I should probably follow that back
7:56 out there. Back down that line. They've
7:58 actually painted a line. I guess so many
8:01 people love them out here. They painted
8:02 a line on the
8:09 ground. All right, see you guys later.
8:09 The pie.
