0:46 ahead. How ironic that there is a sign

0:49 for a lost dog here. Right outside the

0:52 apartment space when in the movie he was

0:54 looking for a lost dog. Very weird.

1:16 through here is

1:17 locked. I was standing in front of the

1:18 Ace Mature Apartments and a homeless guy

1:20 that was selling some postcards that he

1:22 made yelled at me for filming him. And

1:24 then another guy came up and was selling

1:25 his rap music. Supposedly had a YouTube

1:28 page. He told me he had a YouTube page

1:29 and I would promote him on it. And then

1:31 he just walked away. He didn't want to

1:33 be in my video even though I told him I

1:35 would promote him to the masses. Very

1:37 unusual town.

1:43 The gate in front of the apartment

1:45 buildings where Jim Carrey lived in the

1:46 movie was locked. But thanks to Google

1:49 Earth, I found another secret way in

1:51 through the backside. Uh, they got it

1:53 all shame linked up. We're going to see

1:54 if we can get in, show you Ace Ventura's

2:36 Ready. Let's get our contestants. First

2:39 read our challenger. He's a housewife

3:06 went through this little hotel here.

3:10 gate that was actually barbwired up and

3:12 made it into Ace Ventura's apartment for

3:14 the manager of the apartment building.

3:16 Little area there was still being used

3:31 out. I'm now at the Visaya Museum and

3:31 Gardens right here in Miami, Florida.

3:34 This you might not recognize this at

3:35 all. The reason is because the scenes

3:37 are actually on the inside and around

3:39 the back side of this at this garden

3:41 area. It's $15 to get in here and

3:43 security is really tight with

3:44 photography. They don't want you taking

3:46 a lot of pictures, especially inside.

3:48 They actually have guards. This place is

3:50 pretty phenomenal. So, you should check

3:51 it out when you're here. Let's go check

3:52 out some more of the Ace Ventura stuff.

4:05 You can see this boat behind me

4:06 prominently displayed in a lot of the

4:08 scenes. The cars are pulling up here.

4:10 Jim Carrey, Courtney Cox walking up

4:14 entrance. You see this boat come back

4:29 definitely changed, but right here where

4:30 this glass is, actually the door was

4:33 where he called the guy Captain Stubing.

4:51 Although they've removed the doors

4:51 around that side where they walked up,

4:52 Jim Carrey and Courtney Cox, and they

4:54 put glass ones in. Here's a remnant of

4:56 the old style doors. The other one that

4:59 was in the shot actually had three of

5:01 these little knobs. Courtney Cox would

5:02 have knocked on it. Jim Carrey would

5:04 have stood right in here and made the

5:05 little funny

5:06 faces. I swear if you do anything to

5:08 embarrass me in front of camp, what like

5:10 this?

5:13 You're getting ready for some kind of

5:14 formal event out here at the gardens.

5:17 Right over here is where Jim Carrey was

5:19 trying to get the ring off the guy's

5:20 finger. It fell right over in here. He

5:23 picked it up. You can see there's a boat

5:24 behind me.

5:35 What are you doing? I I'm sorry, Ron.

5:35 What are you sick doing? Ace, what are

5:37 Let's go.

5:40 Ace,

5:42 stop

5:43 it. I don't even want to know why your

5:45 pants are missing. I don't care what

5:47 happened to you. You could have cost you

5:48 my job. They have pretty strict security

5:50 measures and they won't let you take any

5:52 photographs inside this place. However,

5:54 that being said, it's still worth coming

5:57 out here. The stuff inside here is

5:58 amazing. Here's something you definitely

6:00 will notice from the movie. When Jim

6:01 Carrey escapes out of the window, he's

6:03 looking for snowflake and he actually

6:05 goes right near this water and enters

6:07 through that door over there, jumps over

6:09 that railing, and shuffles along.

6:50 This is the inside view. Jim Carrey

6:52 would have leaped over this, come

6:54 through this door. It wasn't a glass

6:55 door. It was another door. Come in here.

6:57 You can see it looks totally different

6:58 than it does in the
