0:19 I actually called it Laola Beach because

0:22 that is the way it is spelled. And over

0:24 time, I have been corrected that this is

0:26 La Hoya Beach near San Diego. And the

0:30 children's pool is known for something

0:31 very fantastic because originally was

0:34 created as it is said a children's pool

0:37 and then a bunch of sea lions started to

0:39 basically take over the property and on

0:42 the beach were a ton of sea lions and

0:46 the city let the the sea lions stay here

0:49 and they actually erected these placards

0:51 saying

0:52 basically why the sea lions were here

0:55 not to mess with the sea lions. Do not

0:57 interrupt the sea lions. In fact, you

1:00 can actually see here is a sign here.

1:05 respectful of the seals in that area.

1:09 And we are out here celebrating Madame

1:12 Loo's birthday. Tomorrow is your

1:14 birthday. And we are going down to San

1:15 Diego. I wanted to show you some things

1:17 in San Diego. We're doing some stuff

1:18 tomorrow. Yeah. But I told you for

1:21 probably the last year that the most

1:22 amazing thing I've probably ever seen is

1:24 in La Hoya Beach, the seal sea lion

1:28 beach. And you were super excited to see

1:30 it. I was so excited. You can hear the

1:31 disappointment in your voice because the

1:34 sea lions are no longer here. Look at

1:37 this. The sea lions, for whatever

1:39 reason, either on their own or someone

1:43 has removed them. Hopefully not.

1:45 Hopefully they left on their own accord.

1:47 But look at this. Go back and watch the

1:49 Daily Woo 290. You can see the sea

1:51 lions, but you will not be seeing sea

1:53 lions. Unfortunately, you will not. Nor

1:56 will those watching today be seeing sea

1:58 lions because the sea lion

2:02 beach is back to normal. What happened

2:07 to the sea lions? That is what this vlog

2:11 is about. This vlog was going to be

2:14 about a return to the Sea Lion Beach,

2:16 the children's pool here in La Hoya.

2:18 That was what the topic of this vlog was

2:20 going to be, but the vlog topic has been

2:23 altered. And now the question is, and I

2:25 want everyone to help me out by doing

2:34 seals/sea lions of La Hoya Beach,

2:41 They used to all be along here. Hundreds

2:44 and hundreds of sea lions along this

2:49 beautiful

2:50 shoreline along these majestic rocks and

2:54 this

2:55 walkway. And actually, it's kind of a

2:58 bummer. They're doing some kind of

2:59 construction up here. And you were

3:01 saying maybe the construction drove the

3:03 sea lions away. Let's just hope that's

3:05 what Let's just hope that's what that

3:06 is. Originally, you were not allowed to

3:08 swim or sunbathe down here. The

3:11 children's pool area here in La Hoya

3:13 Beach near San Diego was actually

3:16 specifically allotted for the sea lions

3:19 that were here. So, we actually have to

3:21 climb. We're going to have to do some

3:24 climbing. We're going have to do some

3:25 climbing to get up here. I think you can

3:28 do it. Just put your foot here. Put your

3:31 foot there.

3:33 Jump up there and then climb over. You

3:36 can get it. Or you can probably you're

3:37 you're skinny enough to where you can

3:38 wedge over it. See, you got it. You got

3:40 it.

3:43 Perfect. We have to do some climbing up

3:48 here. I'm going to attempt to jump over

3:52 railing here. I'm on the railing

3:57 now cuz there is some construction going

4:00 on down there. You're technically not

4:02 supposed to even be walking over here,

4:04 but you can see there are people

4:06 wandering along. You can see the

4:07 fisherman over there fishing. And if you

4:09 watch that vlog 290, I believe it was,

4:12 you can see I start the vlog all along

4:14 here and it shows the waves

4:17 crashing just like this. And when I turn

4:20 for the unveiling, the reveal, there

4:23 were tons and tons,

4:24 hundreds, literally hundreds of sea

4:27 lions right in this area.

4:30 You were actually asking what is the

4:32 difference between a seal and a sea

4:34 lion. So if you know the answer to that,

4:41 smallest waiting pool that that girl is

4:43 waiting in down in there. That actually

4:45 probably would be very comfortable to

4:47 sit in that little pool of

5:08 lions. You know what? I think I think

5:09 so. He did get rid of those awful

5:12 creatures and trimmers. So maybe maybe

5:14 he got rid of the nonawful creatures in

5:17 the form of sea lions. So just imagine 2

5:21 years ago it was actually more than two

5:23 years ago. Day 290 of the daily woo. Go

5:26 back and watch it. There were hundreds

5:28 of sea lions all along here. No humans

5:31 along here. Just sea lions encompassing

5:34 this children's pool on this beach. Look

5:37 at

5:38 this. The salt water down there.

5:42 Celebrating celebrating your birthday

5:44 tomorrow here in San

5:47 Diego. Pretty

5:55 awesome. Really kind of sad about the

5:55 sea lions.

5:57 When I was out here two years ago on day

5:59 290 of the Daily Woo when I saw the sea

6:02 lions, I actually texted some friends of

6:03 mine and said, "This is the most amazing

6:06 thing I've ever seen." Because you don't

6:08 see stuff like this. You don't just

6:09 wander out onto a beach and see hundreds

6:12 of sea lions just hanging out

6:14 unattended, not in a theme park in the

6:17 wild, and now they are gone. So, let's

6:20 hope. Let's cross our fingers. Let's

6:23 cross our fingers and hope that the sea

6:25 lions are safe. And if you know where

7:25 looks like the public has taken over and

7:27 the public have one. And this gentleman

7:29 down here is fishing for treasure. He's

7:32 digging for gold or looking for shells

7:35 or maybe he's looking for the sea lions.

7:37 Maybe he's hunting down the sea

7:40 lions. All right, one last moment of

7:47 that is now happening. The children

7:49 frolicking, the adults swimming and

7:53 sunbathing off into the horizon.
