0:09 Welcome everyone out of the Woo here.
0:09 That is a train, a Metro Link train. But
0:15 be careful because that train has no
0:20 train horn.
0:27 It's my second channel, Daily Blog
0:27 channel. I didn't hear a train horn. You
0:29 didn't hear a train horn. What does no
0:31 train horse train horn train horn
0:35 significance have to you and I? That's
0:38 the question of the day. It's my second
0:41 channel, daily blog channel. It's the
0:43 daily transportation episode of the
0:46 daily. Woo. You see cars driving by. You
0:48 see people walking. You hear me
0:51 uncaffeinated.
0:52 Still early enough in the morning to
0:54 where I am not coherently functioning
0:55 and formulating words. And you see my
0:58 transportation of the day, my bicycle
1:00 right there on the ground. And it's
1:02 actually in the way. A lot of people
1:05 walking by are actually being hindered
1:07 by my bike. I should not. I've actually
1:09 parked my bike right there. And you can
1:10 actually see the chunk of grass right
1:13 there that I actually festoned up from
1:16 the ground by putting my kickstand.
1:17 Never try to plant a kickstand in the
1:20 ground because what will happen end up
1:22 ripping up sod and ripping up grass.
1:24 Always
1:26 park your bike with the kickstand on
1:28 concrete or some sort of solid area.
1:31 That woman right there riding by on her
1:34 bike probably knows how to put the
1:36 kickstand down on the concrete as
1:39 opposed to
1:41 see I'm completely in the way. She
1:42 actually had to drive off onto Let me
1:45 actually move my bike out of the way.
1:47 I'm always in the way. Have I done the
1:49 intro yet? It's the daily woo. Then look
1:52 if you notice something about this sign.
1:55 What about this sign is unusual? Read
1:57 this sign. Warning. Does it say watch
1:59 for trains approaching in both
2:02 directions? Does that sign say warning?
2:05 Watch for trains approaching in both
2:08 directions. If you think that sign says
2:10 warning, watch for trains approaching in
2:13 both directions, raise your hand. Okay,
2:16 great. We have now taken a poll. I was
2:19 actually thinking that said that as
2:20 well, but actually it says warning,
2:22 watch for trains.
2:25 Trains approach in both directions. So,
2:29 it's kind of confusing when you have
2:30 trains at the end of this actually over
2:33 here. Watch for trains and then another
2:38 word trains right next to it without a
2:41 period. Kind of confused me. Watch for
2:44 trains. Trains approach in both
2:46 directions. Watch for trains. Trains
2:48 approach in both directions. Watch for
2:55 directions. Now I understand exactly
2:57 what that sign means. Here's another
3:00 form of public transportation. When it
3:02 comes to buses, a lot of people when
3:04 they're commuting either to work or to
3:05 school or to visit or to travel around
3:08 bigger areas of cities and suburbs, they
3:11 take public transportation. And maybe
3:14 one day I'll do a vlog on some sort of
3:17 public transportation. I have not ridden
3:18 the bus in quite some time, but it would
3:20 be cool to do some bus adventures, some
3:22 train adventures. And the no train horn
3:25 thing is very interesting. And I realize
3:27 this because all through the area of
3:30 Orange County up into Los Angeles County
3:32 and LA and all the nether regions of the
3:34 greater Los Angeles area, these metro
3:38 link, which is the company, the
3:40 corporation that actually takes people
3:42 to and fro to commute to work or to
3:45 school,
3:47 they actually do not use a train horn.
3:49 Meaning that when they come to an
3:51 intersection back in the olden days, I'm
3:53 thinking, correct me if I am wrong on
3:54 this train horn scenario. Back in the
3:57 olden days when they would approach an
3:58 intersection like this, the conductor or
4:01 not the conductor, who is the person
4:03 that actually drives the train? The
4:04 conductor is the person that brings
4:07 people on and lets people off of the
4:08 train. The person that's driving the
4:11 train would be pulling down on the train
4:13 horn honk. Not like a truck would do,
4:16 but how's a train horn sound
4:20 or whatever that train sound is? But
4:23 because there's so many local residents
4:25 living nearby, working nearby, they do
4:27 not want to hear a train horn 518 times
4:30 a day, that's what the no train horn
4:34 sign means. Look, look, look, look.
4:41 Now, am I correct in assuming that? I
4:43 did not do any research beforehand. I
4:46 just woke up literally a half hour ago.
4:47 I jumped on my bicycle right here. I've
4:50 been riding all around this area for
4:54 probably about the last 10 minutes
4:56 deciding what could I vlog about and
4:57 then it hit me. It hit me when I saw
5:01 this. And luckily the train did not hit
5:05 me because I have abided by this sign
5:08 which is very clearly understandable
5:10 that trains come in both direction. A
5:13 train comes down this track and there's
5:14 a second track that this drive by. And
5:17 this is actually a little delay. It's a
5:19 couple days older and I should have
5:20 brought this up in the vlog a couple
5:22 days ago, but there was actually a Metro
5:25 Link accident down the road. I believe
5:28 that way. It could have been that way. I
5:29 have my directions kind of confused, but
5:31 it was actually a little bit north of
5:33 Los Angeles. I believe in the town of
5:36 Oxnard, which is along this Metro Link
5:39 track. I believe along this exact metro
5:43 link track. But the Metro Link train
5:46 that's commuting people to and fro every
5:49 day from work actually derailed. It
5:52 actually hit a truck in the middle of an
5:54 intersection like that. So I'm wondering
5:56 in a situation like that if there is a
5:58 truck across
6:01 the train tracks like let's say if that
6:03 truck was to stop and that's actually a
6:05 metro link truck. So, how ironic would
6:06 it be if a train was actually to hit a
6:09 Metro Link truck and it's actually a
6:11 Metro Link train? That would be a double
6:14 collision of Metro Link idness. Okay,
6:17 we're going to witness a train coming
6:20 through.
6:21 Go on Google, look up the Metro Link,
6:24 California
6:26 accident between the truck and the
6:28 train.
6:30 You always see in movies train
6:32 derailment. So just imagine what a train
6:34 derailment would be like. So imagine
6:37 this train that's actually coming
6:38 towards us. See this train right here?
6:40 Imagine that train all of a sudden
6:43 shifts off of the track and starts to
6:45 flow towards us and then flips over. I
6:48 believe no one was actually killed in
6:50 the accident thankfully. But there were
6:52 a lot of people injured. I think 29 or
6:54 30 people injured. And when I'm talking
6:56 about train injuries, it actually scares
6:58 me enough to where I'm actually going to
7:00 get away from the train. I'm going to
7:01 stand right here.
7:03 as the train goes by.
7:12 Anytime I think about public
7:12 transportation and accidents like plane
7:15 crashes, train wrecks, I always think of
7:18 Superman number one when Superman is
7:21 talking to Lois Lane before they go on
7:24 their little flying excursion and he
7:26 tells her the safest form of travel is
7:29 actually plane travel. The odds of
7:31 getting in a car wreck, of being injured
7:33 or perishing in a car wreck, are
7:35 actually greater than being on a plane.
7:37 And I would probably say the same about
7:40 being on a Metro Link or any other
7:43 passenger train for that matter.
7:46 It's kind of all laws of averages. Of
7:49 course, when something like a train
7:50 derails, it ends up on the news.
7:52 Luckily, in this situation, no one
7:54 actually passed away or perished. Just a
7:57 a few injuries. actually a lot of
7:59 injuries, but no one actually passed
8:00 away, which is actually very good to
8:03 hear. So, here is my question. Here is
8:05 my conundrum and my thought that I want
8:08 you to chime in on today. What is the
8:10 safest form of transportation when it
8:14 comes to commuting? When it comes to
8:17 traveling, when it comes to going either
8:19 cross country or localized community,
8:22 community
8:24 commuting the community. This is what
8:27 happens when you do not become
8:28 caffeinated before a vlog begins.
8:33 So, let's chime in. Let's have a
8:34 discussion. How do you commute? Do you
8:37 take your own car? Do you take a bicycle
8:39 like I have? Do you take the train? Do
8:42 you take a bus? What do you take? Do you
8:45 walk? Do you run? Do you jog? Do you
8:49 sprint gracefully? How do you transport
8:53 yourself to not only your home but also
8:57 to your work, to your friend's house?
8:59 What is your mode of transportation? And
9:02 what do you deem in your mind? What is
9:04 your opinion on the safest form of
9:07 transportation? That is the topic of
9:08 today. Kind of an insightful daily. Woo.
9:11 A little bit of a homework assignment I
9:13 have for you because I want you to put
9:15 on your thinking caps. I have my
9:18 thinking hoodie on, which it's weird
9:21 because when I put my thinking hoodie
9:22 on, I'm no smarter than I am when I have
9:24 it off. So either way, off or on, off or
9:27 on, I still am never thinking
9:30 coherently. Have a great day. Check down
9:31 below for my teachers.
9:34 Got some good daily video ideas coming
9:36 out very soon. Going to have some good,
9:39 awesome, epic daily woos in the near
9:42 future. And as well as the Adam the Woo
9:45 channel, I'm actually doing a little
9:47 recgnissance work not only today,
9:49 tomorrow, and the next day. I have some
9:52 good ideas for some main channels and
9:54 some daily woos. Hopefully they come
9:57 true and hopefully I can bring them into
9:59 your eyes from my camera into your
10:04 nether regions of your eye sockets.
10:07 All right, have a great day. This guy
10:08 was very confused by my eye socketness
10:12 that I was just staring at you. His
10:15 transportation is walking. My
10:17 transportation is biking. The people
10:19 that were just on the metro link, their
10:21 transportation
10:23 is taking a train. And my throat's
10:25 transportation is
10:28 clearing it because clearly I need some
10:30 sort of beverage and some sort of water.
10:32 Remember what I said about the
10:33 kickstand? Let's all take this into
10:36 consideration.
10:45 If you're going to plant a bike, I use
10:45 that word plant ironically because you
10:47 cannot plant a bicycle's kickstand like
10:50 a plant. You can't take it and you can't
10:52 insert it in the ground and expect it to
10:53 grow like a normal plant. But if you're
10:55 going to plant a kickstand, plant it on
10:58 something very solid like this as
11:01 opposed to this or you will rip up the
11:03 sod like I did. I have desecrated the
11:05 grounds of Orange County and I apologize
11:08 and I apologize to you for this vlog cuz
11:12 it's kind of an unusual vlog. You never
11:13 know what you're going to get on the
11:14 daily boo. It's an unedited adult vlog I
11:15 do every single day. It's unedited and
11:17 random and impulsive and sometimes I
11:18 talk about some weird stuff. Sometimes I
11:20 pick your brain. Like today I'm picking
11:22 your brain, man. Me pick that little
11:24 brain and bring it in to my world. And
11:26 sometimes I go to abandoned places.
11:27 Sometimes I go to theme parks. Sometimes
11:28 I go to wacky roadside attractions. And
11:30 sometimes who knows what you're going to
11:32 get. Remember everyone, remember
11:34 warning. Watch for trains. Trains, watch
11:38 for trains. Trains. They approach from
11:41 both directions. I love you guys. Thanks
11:43 for dealing with my rambling, incoherent
11:46 inadequacies on a daily basis. Goodbye.
