0:11 Oh, it's good to have you back, creamer.
0:11 And those aren't bugs in there. Those
0:13 are coffee grinds.
0:16 At least I hope they are.
0:19 Oh, that's good. It's my second channel.
0:21 Daily vlog channel. It's
0:29 I almost spilled my coffee. It's the
0:29 daily woo.
0:31 I want to talk about a particular
0:32 subject real quick. It involves three
0:35 key points. The past,
0:39 the present,
0:47 and the future. The majority of people
0:47 that you meet always will judge you on
0:50 what you are doing presently. And this
0:52 also not only goes for people you just
0:54 met, but also people you know and have
0:57 known for a long time. And that's what I
0:59 want to talk about. Don't always focus
1:02 on the present. Let's talk about
1:04 someone's past. You always hear these
1:06 stories of someone who was down on their
1:08 luck at one point and then over a few
1:10 years got motivated, devoted themselves
1:13 to something, and then became the leader
1:16 of a Fortune 500 company. You think the
1:19 majority of the population care about
1:22 what this now successful businessman did
1:25 10 years ago? His struggles, what he had
1:28 to deal with to get where he was, his
1:30 motivation and the focus that he showed
1:33 slaving every day to make his business
1:35 successful. No, the majority of the
1:38 population, including probably me and
1:40 you, do not look at it that way. All we
1:43 can think of is either jealousy. Our
1:45 thought process is he's always had that.
1:48 We do not look at the big picture
1:52 and that's kind of a bummer. And that
1:54 goes with anyone's current day, their
1:56 present day activities and what they are
1:59 doing now. They came from a past. They
2:02 had a past to get to their present. No
2:06 matter what their situation is, at one
2:08 point they had a past that progressed to
2:12 a present. And this is why it is vitally
2:14 important to make the decisions that you
2:17 feel necessary to get to where you want
2:20 to be. Because in the past, people will
2:22 forget about the decisions you made, the
2:25 progress that you have to make, the
2:27 orals you have to deal with to get to
2:30 the current day status of what you want
2:32 to be and who you want to be. And people
2:34 are always going to see the present.
2:36 They're not going to see the decisions
2:37 you made in the past. So, if you have a
2:40 decision you want to make and you're
2:42 battling with this decision and you're
2:43 thinking, "What are people going to
2:45 think about my decision making? Are they
2:47 going to frown upon what I have to do,
2:49 what I want to do, what I desire to do?"
2:52 Always remember down the road in the
2:55 future that will be the present day. I'm
3:00 talking like Doc Brown right now. And
3:01 how do we get from the present to the
3:04 future? How do we progress from current
3:07 day into the future? You can do it a
3:10 couple different ways. You can sit on a
3:12 couch every day, every night, doing
3:14 nothing, talking with your friends,
3:17 basically having people over, talking
3:19 about how you're going to do certain
3:20 things. Down the road, this is going to
3:22 happen. One day I'm going to do this.
3:24 One day I'm going to do this. And then
3:25 three, four, five years when you're in
3:28 the future, you're still sitting on a
3:30 couch similar to this one talking with
3:32 your friends, doing the same things. And
3:34 that is why people do not believe your
3:36 future will be any different than your
3:38 present. Because the majority of people,
3:41 myself included at times, talk talk talk
3:45 about what they're going to do instead
3:47 of just going out and getting it done.
3:49 Just always remember when you talk to
3:51 someone who's telling you their plans,
3:53 if they are a motivated person and
3:54 they're seeing progress, do not deny
3:58 that person the ability to infiltrate
4:01 your brain into realizing that one day
4:03 their future could possibly be different
4:06 than their present. Keep all three of
4:09 these things in mind. The past, the
4:11 present, and the future. Everyone has a
4:13 past to get to the present. And everyone
4:15 if motivated enough, this includes you,
4:18 will have a prosperous and very
4:20 beneficial and at least happy to the
4:23 soul future and things will always
4:25 happen. Keep your head up, keep moving
4:28 forward. That's basically all I'm trying
4:30 to say. I know this is very confusing.
4:31 Let's continue with the vlog. Got to
4:34 run.
4:42 What the heck is that?
4:42 That's a huge blue pyramid in front of
4:44 me. Oh yeah, there it is. Look at that.
4:47 That's awesome. Who knew that pyramids
4:49 existed in California?
4:59 One of the rare Dunkin Donuts, Southern
4:59 California. What's going on up here on
5:02 these shingles? Look at these shingles
5:03 stacked on top of that roof just
5:06 teetering there. One stiff wind
5:10 just make them all tumble down here onto
5:12 the road. A lot of police cars there in
5:14 a row. See behind me, that's my van. It
5:18 took me an hour and a half,
5:20 approximately an hour to an hour and a
5:22 half, give or take, to find that parking
5:24 spot here in Long Beach, California.
5:26 There's an event going on that I'm going
5:29 to right now. Good lord, I get so
5:32 stressed out when it comes to parking.
5:34 All the parking near the event is around
5:37 $30 a pop. And since I'm only going to
5:39 be staying for a very short while, I
5:41 didn't really deem it necessary to pay
5:43 the 30 bucks. So, I made the mistake of
5:45 thinking that I could drive around
5:46 aimlessly till I found a parking spot.
5:49 This did not prove beneficial because it
5:52 took an exorbitant amount of time and
5:55 years off my life based on the amount of
5:58 stress
6:00 trying to find a stupid parking spot.
6:02 But success has happened and now going
6:06 on to the event. But I always had this
6:08 philosophy that it's better just to pay
6:11 the money to park than to deal with the
6:13 stress. And today I neglected to follow
6:16 my own advice. So now my stress level is
6:19 up here and it's now slowly slowly
6:22 tapering back. Okay, carrying on. One of
6:25 the downfalls of street parking is I
6:27 only get 2 hours. It's the face of a
6:29 woman right here. Look at this. This
6:31 mural in the face of a woman outside
6:33 this hotel.
6:35 I don't think I'm allowed to go that
6:37 way.
6:38 They got it taped off pretty good.
6:40 Pretty good. Let's go down here. Here it
6:42 is. Look at this.
6:45 Race cars right on the water in Long
6:48 Beach.
7:13 Check out all of the tires they have in
7:15 case one of the cars lose control
7:19 of those tires.
7:28 It's pretty cool seeing those cars whip
7:28 around the track like that. There's also
7:30 like a whole little area here where you
7:32 can buy food and knickknacks and things.
7:35 So, you know, that's where I'm headed.
7:37 Kind of similar the same things they
7:38 have at like a county fair. That's what
7:41 these food carts remind me of. They
7:43 probably were at the fair. They probably
7:44 go from the fair to different events all
7:46 around the country. That's what I'm
7:48 guessing. Out of all the booths out
7:50 here, the California Lottery booth has
7:52 the most people in it. I guess race fans
7:54 really like to gamble. Okay, I take that
7:56 back. This has the longest line I've
7:59 seen so far. In line to meet this guy,
8:03 King Taco. I got to be honest though, I
8:05 really don't know what I want to eat for
8:07 lunch. H decisions, decisions. The
8:09 Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. Get
8:12 your merchandise right there. Is that
8:20 here seems to be like the little kitty
8:20 play area. I'm still looking for food
8:22 though. Still looking for food. Whoa,
8:24 look at that mural. That's cool. Look at
8:26 that. They had this crazy little toy
8:29 racetrack in there. The cars were
8:30 speeding by so incredibly quick. And the
8:33 people who were the pit crew had to stop
8:34 them from wrecking and putting them back
8:36 on there. They were moving really,
8:38 really fast. It was pretty cool. Dang,
8:40 those look really good. This is what I'm
8:43 consuming. A bacon wrapped humongous
8:47 either a sausage or a hot dog. I'm not
8:49 sure which. Doesn't matter cuz they're
8:51 both very delicious. Some onions. Some
8:54 green peppers. And what is this
8:56 gargantuan pepper off to the right? I
8:58 don't know if I should eat that, but
9:00 they gave it to me. Do you ever think
9:01 about how awesome certain inventions
9:03 are? Ones that get forgotten about, like
9:06 napkins. If I did not have a napkin, I
9:08 would be running around like a dog
9:10 licking my paws.
9:41 They're trying to stop us off. Oh, that
9:41 guy's doing a little vlog himself in the
9:42 back of that truck. Okay, I'm crossing.
9:45 Just crossing over the racetrack right
9:46 now. This might be a little dangerous.
9:49 Oh, is there a Look, there's a ramp
9:51 right there. There's a freaking ramp
9:53 right next. What's this guy doing? He
9:55 really wants in that bathroom. Whoa.
9:57 What's going on over there? That's not
9:59 politically correct. That guy was
10:00 seriously banging on the porta potty
10:02 door for about 20 seconds before I
10:04 actually filmed the little bit that I
10:05 filmed pushing it back and forth. I
10:07 don't know if his friend was in there,
10:08 his wife was in there. Got to love
10:11 alcohol. Is it just me or is this fire
10:13 hydrant really long and narrow? More
10:15 long and narrow than a normal fire
10:17 hydrant. Maybe I'm overthinking it. My
10:20 two hours on my parking meter has
10:21 expired. I want to thank Jesse for the
10:23 ticket to the race here in Long Beach.
10:25 Really cool. I think from what I heard,
10:27 someone said this was the last year
10:28 they're going to be doing this. So, it
10:30 was cool that I got to check this out.
10:31 This, however, really cracks me up. You
10:36 think they could just put like a
10:37 barricade up? One of those Bob's
10:38 barricades. You know that guy Bob that
10:40 runs that barricade company that you see
10:42 everywhere? Nope. They just put up some
10:45 caution tape. I don't know if you can
10:47 see it or not, but on the side of that
10:49 building, there's a few metal gentlemen
10:53 on a tight rope, swinging from it, doing
10:56 their calisthenics right on the side of
10:58 that building. You don't see that every
11:00 day. After that hot dog and all that
11:02 pre-racing fun, I'm really thirsty.
11:21 And now it's time for Ask Adam the Woo.
11:21 Don't forget the hashtag. I still want
11:22 to know about the Kplunk tattoo. A quick
11:24 story about it, please. This is a tattoo
11:26 from the Green Day album Kurplunk. And
11:29 it's tattooed on my arm. I got the
11:31 tattoo about 10 years ago, maybe even
11:32 longer than that. Now, Green Day has
11:34 moved on to become bigger and better
11:36 things. There are this huge band. I
11:38 think they actually got inducted into
11:40 the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I am
11:42 more of an old school Green Day fan. In
11:44 fact, Mike Durn, the bass player, never
11:46 met him personally, but subconsciously
11:48 and vicariously, he motivated me and
11:51 inspired me to pick up the bass guitar,
11:54 which led me to a career in music. I
11:56 don't play in bands anymore, but I still
11:58 have my Green Day tattoo. Where do I get
12:01 a pair of those awesome red and white
12:02 sunglasses you sport? These things are
12:04 pretty hard to find these days. A few
12:06 years ago, they used to have them at
12:08 Disney outlets around Orlando, the CMI,
12:10 Florida area, and I got a few pair. In
12:12 fact, there's a vlog from years ago of
12:15 me selling a few pair off. Day number
12:18 181 is where you can find the glasses.
12:21 Look, there they are. Look. Look at this
12:25 oranges. That's a rotten orange. Don't
12:29 look at the rotten orange. But look at
12:30 this. I wish I had not have sold them
12:32 now because this is my last pair. So, if
12:34 you know how to get a hold of some, get
12:37 a hold of me because I would like to
12:38 purchase some more of these because once
12:41 these are broken,
12:44 they don't exist anymore. And I know
12:46 they're out there. They're very hard to
12:47 find. Disneyland does not have them
12:49 anymore. Walt Disney World does not have
12:51 them. Even the outlets do not have them.
12:54 Sad. How do you unwind after a long day
12:56 of filming? PS. First tweet ever.
12:59 Welcome to the wonderful world of
13:01 tweeting, my friend. How do I unwind?
13:04 That's a very good question. Usually, I
13:06 just relax, maybe get a little snack
13:08 before bed, maybe watch a couple YouTube
13:10 videos or watch a sitcom on DVD and just
13:14 kind of wind down. I'm more of an early
13:16 to bed, early to rise kind of guy, so I
13:18 go to bed kind of early. A lot of
13:20 quietness, a lot of peaceful quietness.
13:24 I don't like a lot of crazy noise. Like
13:27 my cell phone's always on silent. I
13:29 don't really have the radio blaring. If
13:31 I'm not in front of the television
13:33 watching it, the television is not on.
13:35 So, I just kind of like to be alone with
13:37 my thoughts a lot of times. That's
13:39 pretty much how I wind down. Since you
13:40 go to so many places to eat, do you ever
13:42 cook? And if so, what's your favorite? I
13:45 must admit, I am very much a slacker
13:46 when it comes to cooking at home. I
13:48 don't know why. I did it for a long
13:50 time, but recently, especially since I
13:52 do the vlogs, I always like to
13:54 experience new things and eat out more
13:55 than often. Eat about once a day.
13:57 Normally every day I either eat lunch or
13:59 dinner somewhere and I usually show it
14:01 in the vlog. People sometimes ask, "Why
14:03 do you eat out so much?" And it's kind
14:05 of weird because it's kind of the nature
14:06 of the beast by showing these in these
14:08 daily vlogs because people want to see
14:10 what I'm eating and what I'm doing.
14:12 Sometimes I don't like eating out
14:13 though. Sometimes I will make stuff at
14:15 home. But when I say that, I say that
14:17 with a grain of salt because it's
14:18 usually a microwavable meal or a pot pie
14:22 in the oven or some ramen soup or
14:24 something that can be cooked very
14:27 easily. I am no Jack Tripper. I am not a
14:30 chef. Much as I like John Ritter,
14:32 unfortunately,
14:35 I can't cook. And in case you didn't
14:36 notice, I am taking this Q&A today very
14:40 casual and I've taken my socks off.
14:43 Don't be alarmed.
14:46 They're not nuclear. Are you telling me
14:47 that these socks are nuclear? Of course,
14:50 for the nuclear reaction, I need a
14:52 nuclear reaction to generate the 1.21
14:55 gigawatts of the socks I need. Why do I
14:58 sound so much like Seinfeld when I do
15:00 Dr. Brown? And that has been another
15:01 edition of Ask Adam. Ask Adam the woo.
15:06 The ask was like a little too deep.
15:07 instead of ask I said ask
15:11 ask
15:17 tweet me
15:17 # Adam tweet me and put a video clip so
15:20 I can show you guys yourself in the vlog
15:25 ask Adam the
15:55 to make a sandwich, watch some TV,
15:55 and hit the hay.
