0:03 Welcome everyone. Adam the Woo here.
0:03 It's my second channel, daily blog
0:05 channel. It's the daily woo. Say hello
0:08 here to Matt from fiberglassfreaks.com.
0:14 He's driving his vehicle, but we are
0:14 following Check out what we're following
0:17 in front of us.
0:25 It's the Batmobile. It's one of the
0:25 Batmobile that these guys create at
0:28 their little Batcave. They actually call
0:30 it the Bat Cave. And we're on our way to
0:32 the Batcave now. So, I'm going to be
0:34 quiet and see if we can get an up close
0:36 personal view with that right there.
0:39 We're following the Batmobile or what
0:42 will be a completed recreation of What
0:45 year was the Batmobile that you're rec?
0:48 The 1966
0:50 Batmobile right in front of us.
0:53 That is awesome. It's not quite
0:56 completed yet. What percentage of
0:57 completion would you say that's in? 75
1:00 75%
1:02 completed Batmobile ahead of us. Okay,
1:05 we're coming up to a stoplight here. So
1:07 hopefully we can get a good shot.
1:21 You see the tail lights aren't quite in
1:21 place yet. The lights there are shining
1:24 in our eyes. And there's also the little
1:26 flamethrower. That's not really a
1:28 flamethrower. That's the exhaust, right?
1:30 Where the flame pops out. Oh, it's
1:32 actually a flamethrower. Actually, it's
1:33 actually a flamethrower. So, you
1:35 actually put an actual flame in there
1:37 that protrudes out. It's up to a 20 lb
1:40 propane cylinder and there's an
1:42 electronic igniter in it that we can act
1:44 actuate from switches under the dash.
1:46 When we get up here to their bat cave,
1:48 now do you always call it the batcave?
1:49 The people that work there. When we get
1:51 up there to their batcave, we'll get out
1:52 and we'll show you what the car looks
1:55 like. And then hopefully we can show you
1:56 a picture or a photo of what it's going
1:58 to be completely look like once we get
2:00 up here, after we get through the green
2:02 light. I almost want to jump out and run
2:04 up there. He's taking off without us.
2:06 There we go.
2:16 You don't want to pass the Batmobile.
2:16 There's an unwritten rule to not pass a
2:18 Batmobile, but we're not going to pass
2:20 it. You know, I've actually been to the
2:21 Batcave in California. I've actually
2:24 been there. I did a vlog about 6 months
2:26 ago from the Batcave. And now I'm doing
2:28 a vlog today of the actual Batmobile.
2:31 They are the only licensed dealer
2:33 anywhere in the world. Correct. Correct.
2:35 Anywhere in the world. And it's DC
2:37 Comics. Yes, sir. DC Comics license
2:40 right here in Indiana. And now we're
2:42 coming up on the Batcave. Get excited
2:44 for the Batcave is now in front of us.
3:05 Is the Batcave going to open or we have
3:05 to manually get out and open the
3:06 Batcave? We have to manually never
3:14 Okay, awesome. I'm gonna jump out and
3:14 show you guys the Batmobile. Come on,
3:17 let's show you the Batmobile.
3:19 This is cool.
3:23 So, here we have the Batmobile straight
3:26 ahead.
3:28 Say hello to Mark inside the Batmobile.
3:31 Like, it's not completely finished yet.
3:33 He was telling me it's 75% completed.
3:37 You can see it's missing a seat here.
3:39 This is where Robin would probably sit.
3:40 Right. This is Did Robin ever actually
3:42 drive the Batmobile? Uh, he did twice.
3:45 Yes. Two times Robin drove the
3:47 Batmobile, but Robin is not here today,
3:49 as you can see. Get a front shot here.
3:54 Look at that. It's not quite painted
3:56 yet, but that's awesome.
4:02 Check out the steering wheel, the toggle
4:02 switches.
4:05 These guys are awesome. Make sure you
4:06 check them out on Facebook. Google their
4:08 Facebook page or that flame will come
4:10 out and annihilate your eyes. Maybe not
4:14 really. That's kind of dangerous though.
4:15 Imagine the flame, the finished product
4:17 of this. This is actually the 19th car
4:20 that they have worked on. This is number
4:22 19. People buy these cars. They create
4:25 them customade. They ship them all over
4:28 the world. Let's go in the back cave.
4:34 I got to get my camera. I don't want to
4:34 lose this over here. I got my other
4:36 camera as well. I'm going to put some
4:37 pictures up on Instagram probably or
4:39 Twitter or Facebook. Maybe I will, maybe
4:40 I won't. Okay, let's go in.
4:49 Look at this. There's another one up
4:49 here.
4:51 This is also a Batmobile as well.
4:53 Correct.
5:00 That will be the next one after this
5:00 one. All right. So, show me some quick
5:01 specifics of the car. Even though it's
5:04 not completely, it's only 75% completed.
5:08 Like he was saying, I was showing the
5:09 toggle switches. All right. The
5:12 dashboard of the Batmobile was very
5:13 unique. It had roll top sections. Each
5:16 of these doors uh are made up of 22
5:18 individually cut, mil, sanded, buffed,
5:20 and polished pieces. And uh those are
5:23 roll top sections. Those will be put
5:25 onto the car after it's uh in final
5:27 assembly. But everything on the car
5:29 works. U we live in a tactile world.
5:32 Everything has to have some kind of a
5:34 function. So, every single switch, every
5:36 single button, every single dial uh has
5:39 a function. Whether it be the horn
5:40 buttons, whether it be like here
5:42 eventually will be the bat beam antenna,
5:44 which raises and lowers on an automatic
5:46 antenna. It was capable of cutting
5:48 through 18 in of steel or 3 ft of
5:50 concrete on the TV show. Wow. Very cool.
5:52 There'll be an arch here that had the
5:54 beacon light up top, the warning lights
5:56 on the sides of it. The triple rocket
5:58 tubes were part of the anti- theft
5:59 system on the original car. That's what
6:01 those three holes represent. So, chrome
6:03 tubes will be put in there. Of course,
6:05 the propane will will make the fire come
6:07 out, right? For the the rocket exhaust
6:09 tube, flamethrower
6:15 that is connected, Mr. M. The steering
6:15 wheel here, I'm not sure, Mark. Are we
6:19 going to get a firstirhand look at the
6:20 flame? Maybe we might actually get a
6:22 firstirhand look at the flame.
6:39 Okay. Sorry about that. No flame. This
6:39 is a no flame zone. I don't want to get
6:41 too close cuz it might actually ignite.
6:43 Okay. Right out of there, the flame
6:45 comes. So, that's very cool. Do you have
6:47 a picture of the finished product? Oh,
6:48 yeah. Sure. Or you could go over their
6:50 website. I was letting them know about
6:51 your websites. You have a Facebook page.
6:53 What's your Facebook link? Facebook is
6:55 fiberglassaks. Fiberglassfreaks.com
6:58 or just Google it. It'll pop up on
6:59 Facebook. Add them on Facebook. Tell
7:02 them I sent you on Facebook. We head
7:04 this way and see more cars in
7:06 construction.
7:08 So, this is the 19th car. I was telling
7:10 them, but then you guys, this number 20
7:12 and 21. Mhm. Sure is. Absolutely. This
7:16 is what 10 of us do for a living. 10
7:19 people work here creating this. He was
7:21 saying he's been working on these
7:22 unofficially since he was 17 years old,
7:25 but they've been in business about a
7:26 decade. Correct. Right. So, he's been
7:28 doing this for a living for 10 years. 10
7:31 years. 10 people. All kind of murals on
7:33 the wall here. The Joker, of course. All
7:36 kind of Batman stuff. Creates a good
7:38 working environment.
7:40 Makes it a lot of fun, that's for sure.
7:42 So, this is the Bat Cave in Indiana.
7:46 Very cool.
7:48 I was noticing over there, too, we got
7:49 the little It's not really the Bat
7:51 Signal, but it is the Bat Signal logo on
7:53 the wall. Very, very cool. Right. We can
7:57 head into the front room where you can
7:59 see some pictures. Oh, cool. We're going
8:00 to go check out some pictures in the
8:01 front room. What the finished product
8:03 looks like. So, behind the scenes of
8:06 Fiberglass Freaks here on the Daily Woo.
8:10 Here you go.
8:12 Founded right there. 2003. Founded.
8:15 Little bats on top.
8:26 Here you go. Oh, they're they're signed
8:26 there for 10 years.
8:29 Minon. Where was this from? Oh, at the
8:30 Loganport Mall. Yeah, we held a minion
8:33 convention. Uh, we had 300 people in
8:36 attendance. It It was terrific to have
8:38 that kind of a turnout. And you had the
8:39 car there. Oh, yeah. Absolutely.
8:44 There's the finished product right
8:45 there. That was from Auto Enthusiast
8:48 magazine. And this is one of the ones
8:49 that you created. Very cool. And then
8:52 here's a photo of five cars. This has
8:54 never been done in the history of
8:56 Batmobiles since 1966. Five Batmobiles
8:59 in the same photo. So the top one in the
9:02 middle is the first one that I built
9:04 back back in the the 1980s and then the
9:07 rest of them are modern incarnations.
9:09 Very cool. So that's kind of like a
9:10 Guinness Book of World Records. Even
9:12 though it's probably not in the Guinness
9:13 Book of World Records, but it's a
9:14 unofficial
9:16 Batman up there. It's an unofficial
9:18 world record right there. Five in a row.
9:21 Well, very cool. Anything other
9:22 interesting items you would like to
9:23 show? I think that takes care of us. A
9:27 Batman bag up there and of course
9:28 Superbat right there. Very cool. So,
9:32 make sure you go over to these guys
9:33 website also Facebook fiberglass freaks.
9:36 All right. Thanks very much. Thank you.
9:38 Thanks for watching everybody. Have a
9:40 great day. Goodbye.
