0:27 never had their food now i invited you

0:30 hot dog because it is national hot dog

0:33 and then i changed my mind because i've
0:36 had so many hot dogs said you want to
0:37 try some unusual chicken
0:39 that started in the philippines i'm down
0:43 are you you seem stoked it's a little
0:46 bit young a little nervous but you're
0:47 not really sure
0:48 they also have spaghetti see that's wild
0:52 jolly oh yeah no i was trying to ask

1:01 all right now i was here about a year
1:04 ago
1:06 for my first time at this establishment
1:09 but i'm back i'm going to try some
1:10 different menu items
1:12 and you can see they have the mascot
1:13 right in front over there that b
1:16 it is a jolly bee so i'm just going to
1:17 call it jolly because it's jolly
1:20 home of the famous chicken joy which i
1:23 haven't really fully wrapped my head
1:24 around what chicken joy is
1:26 maybe when you eat chicken you're full
1:27 of joy and at the moment the
1:29 drive-through
1:29 not too incredibly busy
1:33 the last time i was here today they did
1:34 not have indoor dining
1:36 indoor dining is back and this is
1:37 probably only about five minutes
1:39 from disneyland five minutes from knotts
1:42 if you had a hankering for some
1:45 for some chicken joy see this is what i
1:47 was talking about the menu
1:48 they also have a burger steak here
1:52 bigger beefier and more satisfying than
1:54 ever for 4.99
1:56 it's not your typical fast food
1:58 restaurant
1:59 because they have a 30 thicker patty

6:27 went ahead and ordered this is showing
6:29 all the different locations around the
6:31 world kind of a
6:32 vague map of sorts but they're located
6:34 all across the u.s
6:36 i did not opt for a soda i could have
6:38 used a soda machine but i got the
6:39 pineapple they have a
6:40 special pineapple juice that i ordered
6:42 but dylan i believe dylan got a
6:44 got a soda all along the dining room
6:46 they have they have some etchings of the
6:48 mascot and pieces of chicken
6:50 we got a group of folks over here that
6:51 are playing guitar and whatnot i'm also
6:53 noticing all the chicken over there has
6:55 little flags on it probably to tell you
6:56 what's spicy
6:58 and what's not spicy we opted for half
7:00 and half half spicy
7:01 half not spicy you see the little flags
7:03 there on the chicken individually the
7:05 prices on the up they went away the
7:06 prices on the pies were a dollar
7:08 ninety-nine each
7:09 moves quickly they also have the chicken
7:11 tender these are those prices they said
7:12 that
7:13 okay thank you the chicken sandwich
7:16 prices as well
7:18 and the spaghetti individual prices i
7:20 went with this one right over here so we
7:22 got
7:22 quite a bit of food as well

8:22 peach mango pie is something this place
8:23 is known for it's kind of like you have
8:25 to get the peach mango pie so i'm told
8:27 i've only been here one other time
8:29 are you uh do you like peach mango pie i
8:32 don't have ever had peach mango pine but
8:33 i'm down to try it
8:35 oh look at the mascot here painting a

8:46 crispy-licious and juicy-lips they have
8:48 so many slogans

9:07 uh it's fat-free gravy as far as you
9:09 know it's not free which
9:10 is not true probably a lot of calories

9:20 put the gravy on there i don't know what
9:22 the gravy's for
9:22 should i go ask if there's sides
9:24 included are you supposed to get like

9:31 chicken in the gravy
9:33 yeah does it come with mashed potatoes
9:34 so the gravy is just extra it's like a
9:36 dipping sauce

9:42 i had no because she put it on the
9:43 bottom i don't know what she put it on

9:45 it's different though it's a different

9:53 so these are the two items you have to

10:25 i'm gonna go ahead and well not to use

10:34 with the spicy spicy would this be uh

10:46 i guess the rest of it's non-spicy they
10:49 have a little take-home souvenir here
10:52 there's one more spicy in there it's
10:53 kind of mixed around in there yeah maybe
10:55 it's the probably the breast in there
10:56 that has the
10:58 but i've never seen a place put the
10:59 little little flag on there it's almost
11:01 like
11:02 that's kind of cool because they'll let
11:03 you know yeah it's pretty cool
11:06 i got to document your first bite before
11:07 i take mine because i've already tried
11:08 this about a year ago
11:10 oh you're just you're just ripping it
11:12 right off like an animal i always ripped
11:14 the chicken like that all right do it

11:24 yeah it's actually really good what's it
11:27 comparable to
11:29 kentucky fried chicken kfc yeah
11:32 that was like the first thing that came
11:34 to my mind
11:35 it's definitely comparable to kfc so
11:37 even though it's spicy it wouldn't
11:38 compare to like popeyes
11:40 no because i think popeyes is more spicy
11:42 spicy yeah
11:43 popeyes is very good they got more cajun
11:46 uh
11:46 seasoning it's been so long so i've had
11:49 this i i honestly forgot what it tastes
11:52 get rid of the little flag there
11:55 it's very crispy oh yeah they weren't
11:57 lying very very crispy
12:03 i'm just gonna start right on with the
12:03 with the outer skin covering
12:15 it does have a little spice to it but
12:15 not as spicy as popeye's like he was
12:17 saying
12:17 yeah it's there but very subtle
12:25 i feel like it's pretty standard for
12:27 chicken i don't think it's
12:33 anything like earth-shatteringly
12:33 different than what i've had before
12:35 it's good though
12:41 now that i say that the more i eat the
12:41 more i like it
13:10 and a win in rome moment going in on a
13:10 little bit of
13:11 a little dippage see if you can hear the
13:14 crunch
13:15 see if you can hear the crunch
13:21 and if you don't feel like dipping you
13:23 could take it and just kind of lather it
13:25 in
13:26 on top i don't want to go drench it too
13:28 much but there we go
13:30 going in a leg now this is the non-spicy
13:33 pay no attention to that flag that came
13:34 from the other piece
13:35 this is the non-spicy you were just
13:38 shredding that
13:39 thing i've always done that with chicken
13:41 just pulled it off because i don't like
13:42 eating the fat
13:43 so i separated all that okay
13:47 that makes sense i'm just gonna do i'm
13:49 gonna go in
13:50 go full on in like a carnivore with this
13:53 leg
13:54 before devouring this leg try
13:57 a little bit of the old pineapple drink

14:10 it's like a dole whip in a juice form

14:39 that's definitely not spicy it doesn't
14:39 have as much kick no

15:48 we've still got a couple pieces of
15:49 chicken left too we're going to be full
15:53 we're gonna be full after this yeah
15:54 that's a that's a lot what's your first
15:56 thought upon seeing this with the hot
15:57 dogs in there
15:58 well the hot dogs in there yeah not
16:01 normally a hot dog spaghetti guy

16:10 it's a chunk of meat
16:12 i think that might be a chunk of a high
16:13 dollar or a chunk of hair

18:42 it's not really i wouldn't call it sweet

19:34 oh yeah there's a lot of spaghetti here
19:39 so your first bite of the chicken did

19:47 i felt the joy there's so many hot dogs
19:48 in there how many hot dogs are down in
19:54 that's like a couple full there's
19:55 probably like over a dozen
19:57 a dozen hot dogs like a dozen like
20:00 slices oh it doesn't slice it
20:01 doesn't hot dogs would be a lot that
20:03 would be a lot the more i think about it
20:05 you could possibly put the gravy on
20:08 the spaghetti because they don't
20:10 technically say like what the gravy is
20:13 for but you would just assume it's for
20:15 the i still gotta eat another pizza you
20:16 want a piece of chicken or are you done
20:18 i might have one more piece of chicken
20:19 we should polish off the chicken before
20:20 we go into the pies
20:21 you know if you put the gravy on the
20:23 spaghetti that would definitely be like
20:25 something like
20:25 a big meal time status oh wow yeah that
20:29 would be
20:30 and you probably have a heart
20:31 palpitation probably well
20:44 oh this is spicy i can tell by the flag
20:44 beware it's got the flag there it says
20:47 spicy
20:48 you'll remove the flag you don't want to
20:50 leave this in this
20:52 this would not be good inside the mouth
20:55 take that out of there
21:11 i prefer the spicy over the non-spicy
21:14 spicy is good if i had to get it again i
21:16 would go with all spicy
21:17 not not mild it's like when i go to
21:20 popeye's chicken i always get the spicy
21:21 chicken
21:23 always and as you say this isn't as
21:24 spicy as papayas no it's kind of a notch
21:27 yeah i'd say about 50 less spicy than
21:29 spot than a box
21:30 i would yeah i would agree with that
21:32 bojangles is also spicy this is not a
21:34 spicy i've never had vegetables
21:37 where's that at it's more of a southern
21:39 thing like georgia
21:40 alabama mississippi florida next time

21:49 juice as well i do like that the mascot

22:14 and in fact it is the mascot's name
22:17 who serves joy daily it is a
22:21 it stated it is a large anthropomorphic

22:31 oh during the mass i'm just reading this
22:33 off wikipedia which sometimes is correct
22:34 sometimes it's not
22:36 but it states on this website that
22:38 mickey mouse during the mascot's
22:40 conception mickey mouse of disney was
22:42 made as the benchmark
22:44 for jolie b's design wow and we're only
22:47 about
22:48 five minutes from disneyland so they're
22:50 related they kind of are
22:52 do you trust wikipedia yeah 50
22:55 of the time i do you know what i was
22:59 just thinking

23:26 a couple more dollars another one of

23:28 pineapple juice drinks which are very
23:30 tasty
23:31 so i needed to wash down the one and a
23:34 half
23:34 also i've taking the spicy flag out
23:36 didn't want to confuse anyone
23:38 okay should we kind of do you know where
23:40 you put the quarter underneath these
23:42 and you do the how's that game work oh
23:44 you just kind of like
23:46 find which one the order is in there
23:48 yeah so like one of these is wait a
23:50 second you know what one of these
23:53 is the spicy dylan you ready okay which
23:56 one's the spicy
23:57 spicy spicy which one's the spicy
24:00 hand is faster than the eye which one
24:04 is gonna be the spicy
24:11 this one right here is the spicy first
24:11 look at this it almost looks like the
24:12 texture of like an egg roll
24:14 does it look like egg roll texture going
24:17 to try to dip it in the gravy no no
24:21 okay this is the peach mango i
24:24 what does smell like it dude it doesn't
24:26 doesn't really smell like anything

24:43 it's not bad i can definitely see the
24:44 appeal of it
24:46 pretty good i don't really taste the
24:47 peach too much though
24:53 definitely has more of a mango edge to
24:54 pretty dang good
25:01 i just didn't inquire but i wonder if
25:01 this is the only flavor of pie they have
25:04 it might be is the peach mango
25:08 pretty tasty the only other pies i've
25:12 ever had like this are from mcdonald's
25:14 i know we're mentioning a lot of other
25:15 places besides joliebee
25:17 yeah there's like similar pies you buy
25:19 them at the grocery store they do
25:21 yeah they have like fruit pies oh that's
25:24 right i have seen those
25:26 like mrs somethings yeah mrs
25:29 mrs pie see if you can hear the crunch
25:38 now since there is a third one and
25:38 there's only two of us we're going to go
25:40 halsey's on the second dairy pie
25:43 that has more of a mango presence than
25:45 it does
25:46 a peach presence so dylan has gone up to
25:49 get a plastic piece of plastic cutlery
25:51 oh this has a blemish
25:53 on the top of it there but it kind of
25:54 gives you the opportunity to see down
25:56 inside at the goodness that awaits down
25:59 inside of there
26:00 do they have any all they had was a fork
26:03 yeah i had to cut it down with a piece
26:05 of plastic cutlery
26:07 fork i guess you could use that side of
26:09 it it's like a dull
26:11 a dull blade yeah or we can just we
26:13 could just tear it in it or you could
26:14 just do that

26:19 hole in there that kind of like
26:21 yeah we have some special bubbles up
26:25 this is definitely giving a spoiler even
26:26 though i already filmed it this would
26:28 have been the first thing i filmed
26:29 that would have spoiled what it looked
