0:14 never stayed in before checking out

0:20 Sheridan a nice little couch down

0:30 beds and I believe they called this the

0:32 room I don't like to discuss business on

0:34 the L laai Fletch or what Fletcher used

0:37 to always say I was thinking maybe I'd

0:39 have a little balcony like the ones up

0:41 here but I'm on the ground

0:56 Hotel in fact Telly seales lived here

1:00 the last decade or so of his

1:03 life they film some TV shows some movies

1:07 here I enjoyed staying here I think I

1:09 prefer the hotel next door the Hilton a

1:11 little more but this is

1:15 nice about to check out and over here in

1:17 the main lobby take a look at this you

1:19 can kind of see this is like one of

1:21 those things that you see the Hollywood

1:22 side and then when you walk over to the

1:24 side it

1:25 transforms and you can see it well you

1:27 know it doesn't transform it looks the

1:29 same either way but there kind of a

1:31 interesting setup there over here in the

1:34 main lobby the check-in

1:36 area oh then look at this this goes down

1:39 to one of the ballrooms very very fancy

1:41 there's some ballrooms down there like a

1:43 convention sitter Style on a lower level

1:46 this is called a magic lantern it's

1:48 basically a movie movie recording device

1:50 created back in 1654 it says right there

1:53 made in Germany I'm just that's like a

1:55 yeah it's a it's a filming camera but

1:57 it's like back in the 1600s and got some

2:00 celebrity photos here on the side of the

2:03 wall of people who have stayed here Abid

2:05 and costell Betty Davis well I'm

2:08 assuming they stayed here Bert Lancaster

2:11 up here Lauren ball Rock Hudson Errol

2:14 Flynn it's kind of interesting though

2:16 they I do not see any cojac Telly seales

2:20 photos in here even though he resided in

2:23 here the last decade or so of his life

2:26 in fact I heard he passed away Liv here

2:30 he ended up giving up his house cuz he

2:32 loved living here so much that's the

2:34 story I'm told

2:36 anyway Norman this nice Fountain out

2:49 building and the room I was in was over

2:49 by the pool which is the lower level

2:52 section just over that little area

3:03 I'm leaning towards going to Hollywood

3:03 Boulevard today it's been a while since

3:04 I done a Hollywood Boulevard video where

3:07 I walked around and seeing this kind of

3:09 thinks you know I'll go look at some

3:10 stars go to my old stomping grounds a

3:14 road I used to live off of for a couple

3:16 of

3:18 years Hollywood day welcome everyone

3:24 here piping hot caffinated beverage

3:27 achieve they did have a little setup

3:29 inside there where they have coffee and

3:32 other drinks I think later in the

3:35 evening adult beverages are served but

3:38 for me this morning got my coffee now I

3:42 had heard couldn't confirm because I

3:45 didn't see any name on there but

3:46 evidently syalis was here for so long

3:51 making this his res permanent residence

3:54 later in his life that they named the

3:57 bar Andor restaurant after him but I see

3:59 nothing inside there that confirms that

4:02 so maybe over time that's gone away

4:05 nonetheless it's good to have you here

4:06 I'm inviting you to join

4:09 me that's good get caffeinated shall you

4:14 first time I've ever been here stayed

4:15 here usually my go-to is this one right

4:19 up here on the top of the hill the

4:21 Hilton right up there that one you can

4:23 see right down get the Theme Park View

4:26 room you can see down directly

4:30 in the Universe Studios

4:32 Hollywood this one's just below it you

4:34 could walk to the park from both of them

4:36 very easy commute to just stroll right

4:38 in just walk right over there oh even

4:40 over here by the valet desk I did not

4:42 valet I parked my rental car over there

4:44 in the regular but over here where the

4:47 guests are getting their valet on the

4:49 carpet there's also some Stars too some

4:52 stars and there's also self

4:55 parking here and in the structure there

4:58 and they even roll pull out the red

5:00 carpet here at the checkin

5:02 desk again I think it's a little

5:04 interesting that I'm not seeing any nods

5:07 or

5:09 homages to Mr Telly syalis in here not

5:12 even a photo current day the restaurant

5:13 is called the California and there's

5:16 Brandon Frasier there's the mummy there

5:17 is that that's when he was in The Mummy

5:19 I should say got a pretty nice little

5:20 staircase winding staircase down to the

5:23 bottom level down here I'm going to see

5:25 what's around this corner over here see

5:28 what see what there is okay it just LED

5:31 back up to these escalators where I was

5:34 a few moments ago to the lobby of gift

5:37 shop and the checkin

5:39 desk that was a tour kind of of the

5:41 general area down there all right

5:43 there's an interview online by Steven

5:44 Holt interviewing Telly in the lobby

5:48 next to where I just got coffee in the

5:49 little bar that was named after him

5:52 except I went back in and notice there's

5:54 nothing up it's been remodeled the whole

5:56 Lobby there's nothing that that says

5:58 that the bar name is Tellies anymore and

6:01 also was reading that he lived on the

6:02 third floor so I'm going to walk around

6:03 see if I can see like a something hey in

6:06 that interview he says how he just

6:08 preferred living here than being in a

6:10 house cuz he worked so much was flying

6:12 out to make movies and filming at the

6:15 studios here it was just easier to live

6:16 here than in a house yeah I recognize

6:18 that that's King Kong from over at

6:20 CityWalk got all the

6:23 textbook Hollywood era stuff the film

6:26 reels all right I got a little info from

6:29 the

6:30 sier who worked here back when Mr syalis

6:34 lived here and he told me that he was in

6:37 fact over look in the pool on the third

6:39 floor and Telly's mom lived here on the

6:41 fourth floor which would have been right

6:44 there because the third floor starts

6:46 over there fourth floor starts

6:48 immediately above the lobby in this

6:50 one and he also informed me that the

6:54 coffee bar that the TV interview took

6:57 place in front of was not the Tellies

7:00 bar it was Telly sports bar which is

7:02 down on the bottom level he told me

7:04 where it is now it is a meeting room so

7:06 I'm going to go down there and take a

7:07 look at it so very and I also asked how

7:10 come there are no photos in there he

7:11 says he's not really sure why but there

7:13 are no photos of syalis anywhere on

7:16 property all right the info I heard was

7:18 these three rooms

7:19 352 350 and

7:23 348 were in fact a suite that was

7:28 converted and I don't know if it's still

7:30 that way probably three separate rooms

7:31 now but all this was his suite on the

7:34 other side of this wall faces over to

7:40 pool pretty neat and Counting the rooms

7:42 down the hallway it is the 10th 11th and

7:45 12th room so if you count these that's

7:47 number one so the balconies would have

7:49 been 10 11 or actually 12 11 and 10 so

7:54 these three were his balcony right there

7:56 overlooking overlooking the pool area

8:00 pretty awesome all right I was also

8:01 informed that well I mentioned a minute

8:03 ago that at the bottom of the staircase

8:06 there is a room down here and that used

8:08 to be the sports bar so I'm going to

8:10 head down here and check that out I

8:12 think I mentioned that outside but I

8:14 want to check out where it was this is

8:16 the Grand Ballroom actually just met

8:18 another associate who was also here not

8:21 only the coner but also another

8:23 associate that was walking around older

8:25 gentleman that was here said that tell

8:27 he was a very nice guy so there was a

8:29 block of stuff filmed here including a

8:31 dance episode of 90210 that took place

8:34 in this room it's been remodeled there's

8:36 a whole episode of 9 Beverly Hills nter

8:38 210 that the dance scene happened right

8:41 in here all right so this is the area

8:43 again big thanks to the employees that

8:46 are here that were here back when he

8:47 lived here they all are reiterating the

8:50 same story that this is where the sports

8:52 bar used to be in this little section

8:54 here that hallway been renovated and now

8:57 it is a meeting room right in

9:01 here Cojack

9:10 himself I should also mention there was

9:10 a couple Columbo episodes that were

9:12 filmed in this very hotel as well it

9:14 used to be called the hotel of the stars

9:16 that was the nickname it might still be

9:18 but I hav I didn't see anything

9:19 referencing that but the Columbo

9:21 episodes nothing matches up because a

9:23 lot of the hotel has been completely

9:25 renovated one of the episodes had

9:27 Leonard nemoy in it so it was a litter

9:30 nemoy episode of Columbo that was filmed

9:33 right here in this hotel I am now over

9:36 at the Highland Center Parking Garage

9:40 P3 parking

9:42 garage couple levels underneath the

9:44 Chinese

9:46 Theater and head up to the

9:48 boulevard been a while this a bit of the

9:51 boulevard got a soft spot for it cuz I

9:53 used to live right off of it there's the

9:55 Dolby Theater and here's the staircase

9:59 that the celebrities walked up and down

10:01 during the Academy Awards the Oscars

10:03 also forgot to mention that Sis's mother

10:06 who lived on the fourth floor provided a

10:08 lot of artwork through the Sheridan and

10:11 for one reason or

10:13 another they when they remodeled the

10:15 artwork's not in there anymore for what

10:17 for whatever reason and I'm also

10:18 interested to see maybe if his

10:20 handprints are in front of the Chinese

10:22 Theater or a star I think he has a

10:25 Hollywood star but I can't can't

10:27 guarantee the hand press are out

10:30 there but I'll look I'll take a I'll

10:32 take a peek and see see if so there's a

10:37 possibility pretty sure he has a

10:39 Hollywood star though yeah there's

16:19 that way you will pass this building has

16:22 been recreated in Orlando at Disney's

16:25 Hollywood studio so when you're walking

16:26 in the pen trting stores over here looks

16:29 like the camera and this building is

16:31 exactly recreated this used to be a food

16:34 station back when I lived here it's all

16:37 closed station's Food Market it's all

16:39 closed up but yeah Commit This to Memory

16:42 next time you're at Hollywood Studios in

16:46 Orlando we realize that's the same

16:48 building it's good to see that Mr Paul

18:45 mural I was mentioning La La Land could

18:47 be seen prominently in la la land and I

18:49 can definitely remember walking up and

18:51 down here so many times people would

18:52 spray paint this and destroy it and they

18:54 would always repaint it back to how it

18:55 is yeah if you buy one of these and

18:56 drive it around you're just asking to

18:58 have your car photograph you probably

19:00 going to have the most photographed car

19:01 driving around anywhere with the one of

19:03 these things there really is a lot of

19:04 empty stuff this whole building here is

19:06 completely empty now and then you got

19:08 the bus coming through this is the

19:10 corner of Ivar this entire building is

19:13 now sitting empty I don't even remember

19:15 what this used to be someone has uh Gone

24:28 way a couple blocks and I walk past this
