0:03 today's adventure begins on a very foggy
0:03 morning about 8 30 a.m on thursday
0:06 january 6
0:08 2022.
0:10 i stayed last night on the outskirts of
0:12 columbia georgia
0:14 i'm making the commute over to a little
0:16 community by the name of butler
0:18 i'm going to meet up with a couple folks
0:20 a couple locals who are going to show me
0:21 around
0:23 but i wanted to start off
0:25 by showing the fog of the mourn
0:28 it's true
0:30 not as thick as pea soup
0:33 but definitely
0:34 a hint of fog in the air
0:49 i misspoke a bit when i said where i
0:49 stay it wasn't columbia it was columbus
0:52 kind of stayed on the outskirts out here
0:54 and i have made the journey
0:57 down this road and about to head
1:01 to this one
1:09 right there
1:09 just to give the coordinates
1:11 welcome everyone
1:12 adam the woo here i would like to
1:14 introduce you to tim and tammy time
1:17 hello who have a youtube channel how
1:19 long have you guys had your youtube
1:20 channel for a year and a half a year and
1:22 a half a year and a half what kind of
1:23 stuff do you do
1:24 well we do small towns we do a lot of
1:28 graveyards we do some ghosts
1:35 abandoned churches okay
1:35 all around georgia
1:37 small attractions some alabama a little
1:39 bit of florida we've hit but mostly
1:40 mostly georgia
1:42 i like it tim and tammy time this was
1:44 your idea for me to head out to butler i
1:48 noticed there's a coffee shop right over
1:50 there i don't know if i don't know if
1:51 you're
1:52 piping hot caffeinated beverage drinkers
1:55 but i'm in the mood for for a coffee she
1:57 is i'm a co-caffeinated pepperoni oh i
1:59 do okay coke very nice all right let me
2:01 let me do the join me
2:04 join me timmy tammy tim and tammy that's
2:07 a tongue twister
2:08 a tongue twister of tim and tammy time
2:10 that's a lot of teas
2:12 that's a lot of tease that's a triple t
2:14 on purpose yeah it's purple on purpose
2:16 that's good marketing tnt antique
2:19 tnt yeah that's a lot of cheese join me
2:24 shall you and everybody waves in butler
2:27 everybody waves so we have to wave well
2:30 everybody waves everybody waves them up
2:32 and if the music is still there the
2:34 museum should still be there but uh big
2:36 to foot there's some big to foot there's
2:38 some big the foot stuff yeah now is it
2:40 bigfoot or is it big the foot
2:44 big the butch
2:46 so you don't drink coffee
2:48 i'm gonna convert you to a coffee
2:50 drinker caffeinated okay i gotcha so
2:52 yeah so this is butler georgia
2:55 taylor it says it says taylor made for
2:57 you on the side of this
2:58 mural here
3:00 got the classic courthouse with the
3:01 clock and this is the county seat of
3:04 taylor county and i looked it up i did
3:06 not know this but about 2 000 residents
3:08 here give or take just just under 2 000.
3:11 sometimes that fluctuates because when
3:12 you look online it's always from like a
3:15 census from 10 years before
3:16 you have to kind of kind of guesstimate
3:18 a little bit but i i highly doubt this
3:20 has grown by leaps and bounds
3:22 since 2010. i don't think these small
3:24 georgia towns that are not near an
3:26 interstate
3:28 grow
3:29 all right let's go walk around i get to
3:30 get my caffeine first though yeah
3:33 one thing i like about all these little
3:34 georgia towns i get a lot of stranger
3:36 things vibes about the little town
3:38 square from stranger things which was
3:40 filmed in a small town in georgia i've
3:42 been there i did a whole video there
3:47 oh you lived in jackson
3:47 so you know all about the stranger
3:49 things
3:51 was the western uh western auto that i
3:53 used to love the window shop
3:55 no kidding i think so so when you watch
3:57 a show you're reminded of your home i
3:59 brought my t-shirt yesterday
4:02 i also want to point out over there
4:03 silhouetted
4:04 is the water tower
4:07 mrs betty's fried chicken yeah
4:10 not open at the moment it's still pretty
4:11 early
4:13 but look at this chicken is kind of
4:14 giving the the little okay sign the
4:17 chicken is okay no come on in is it
4:19 interesting how like mascots
4:21 want you to eat them
4:23 yeah
4:24 it's always fascinated by that
4:27 this is called the coffee pot
4:29 and i didn't see somebody go in there
4:31 oh they have fat burning coffee i am in
4:34 the mood
4:35 to burn some fat you know i've been kind
4:37 of on a little bit of a weight loss plan
4:40 that how does weight loss how does fat
4:42 burning coffee work i don't know
4:44 i just want regular coffee so i've heard
4:46 if you don't put a lot of cream and
4:46 sugar in coffee it's actually not bad
4:48 for you as far as
4:50 as far as i guess i've heard the
4:51 caffeine's actually good for you
4:53 it's okay
5:05 hopefully this is not the only place
5:05 to get a coffee in town never know with
5:07 these little little tiny communities
5:08 though there might only be one coffee
5:10 shop this one's closed it's the open
5:12 sound zone though it does stay open
5:14 but it's locked
5:16 she was just here though so she might
5:18 have just wanted to get something we'll
5:19 walk around a little bit come back
5:21 come back by
5:22 you said there was a a pay phone over
5:24 here i don't know you don't see many pay
5:26 phones
5:27 does it have a dial tow does it work
5:30 oh i hear the train going by yeah i get
5:33 excited about about certain things like
5:35 trains small towns coffee which is just
5:39 just behind the door kind of teasing me
5:42 a little bit
5:44 and what's the back story on this
5:46 little gazebo here
5:48 i was told that it was a small police
5:50 department that a police officer would
5:52 sit here especially on days they had
5:54 court
5:55 because we are at the courthouse so like
5:57 almost like a security would be here
6:00 i don't know but yeah something to that
6:01 thing oh am i going to witness the train
6:03 going right does the train go by right
6:04 there
6:23 now will you be filming a video today
6:23 for your channel oh you are
6:25 you already are you're going stealth
6:27 mode yeah well i had to hurry up to get
6:29 the turn
6:53 look at this
6:53 so it doesn't have a dial time
7:03 nonetheless this is an amazing find you
7:03 never i don't say never but rarely we'll
7:05 see
7:06 a pay phone anywhere that has the phone
7:09 still intact it's just not right
7:11 sometimes even finding the shell is is
7:14 random but to have this and this is this
7:18 is where the phone book would have been
7:21 remember those days
7:24 so phone numbers on here anywhere
7:26 now the phone number would usually be
7:31 he always go around see if there's any
7:32 change in there gumball machines and pay
7:35 phones when i was a youth
7:37 that's how that's that's pretty much the
7:38 only thing you could check for for for
7:40 cash you could get a video game out of
7:42 it
7:47 so do you feel like it you feel like
7:47 you're uh you're at work there's a
7:48 career security guard
7:51 excuse me sir can i go in the courthouse
7:53 sure you can sir thank you
7:56 you think the courthouse is open
7:58 it actually is open
8:00 they want us to wear masks can we go in
8:02 and look around in it
8:08 have you ever been inside there
8:11 that's why i know it's open what if we
8:13 could go look at the the prop the
8:15 courthouse room let's go walk over there
8:17 and look this is textbook
8:19 small town georgia it's got the town
8:22 square
8:23 every time i see a town square of course
8:24 i'm reminded of back to the future hill
8:26 valley town square and this is
8:28 almost identical to that you know in its
8:30 own little way
8:32 of course the universal backlot they
8:34 they based that on a
8:45 oh there's a dog here
8:46 that's the dog that was howling
8:48 look at that oh the dog that was the dog
8:50 that was hallow when the train went by
8:57 probably just go right here to the edge
9:00 take a look at this
9:06 oh yeah that's bad news up there that
9:06 room is about to cave in
9:13 one good storm through here there used
9:13 to be a water line
9:19 look at the back of the roof back here
9:19 though
9:20 part of it's already
9:22 if you kind of peek in you'll see the
9:24 whole roof's about to cave in it's the
9:26 ward edwards museum
9:28 could be okay so you're saying that the
9:30 museum is ward edwards
9:33 he's into
9:34 politics so this could be like obviously
9:38 that's that's seeing some years right
9:40 there that little pain on the side
9:42 state representative edwards
9:48 so it probably is where the museum
9:48 you're going to show me in a little bit
9:57 yeah there we go yeah here at 106.
9:57 should have probably caught the name of
9:58 this road this is broad street this is
10:01 broad
10:02 broadcast
10:07 did you know that did you know that
10:07 before you read it no i didn't you just
10:08 saw that i was like wow yeah but you
10:10 really know you're smart but yeah
10:13 i just really know this time
10:22 but you're not from you're not from here
10:22 no
10:23 you're from over in columbus born and
10:25 raised in columbus georgia so you guys
10:26 drove over this morning as well i didn't
10:29 realize because i was just over there i
10:30 said on the outskirts of columbus and
10:32 you guys drove over there from there
10:33 from there too yes we did
10:35 so we probably were running parallel
10:37 with the road yeah yeah probably on that
10:39 same road absolutely
10:41 so you're not a butler resident but
10:42 you're familiar with the town
10:45 me i'm from alabama
10:47 which is which is right on the columbus
10:50 is right on the alabama line
10:52 what's the town right across the river
10:53 it has a nickname phoenix city but it
10:55 has like it's said to be something
10:58 the wickedest city in the world or the
11:01 you yeah
11:03 gerard at one time have you ever done a
11:04 video there not yet but i want to it is
11:07 uh
11:08 it was gerard alabama
11:11 and i don't know why they changed the
11:12 name i guess maybe changed the face of
11:14 the
11:15 city but it has been wicked since its
11:17 inception back to the days of the
11:18 indians well always noticing around
11:21 around georgia a lot of logging trucks
11:24 here's the taylor county clinic
11:27 here at 18
11:29 broad there's a gas station over here it
11:31 will get lucky with uh
11:34 well i don't know you know i don't think
11:35 this place has got this doesn't look
11:36 like a place that that serves any
11:38 beverages
11:39 now this was done by christopher johnson
11:42 back in 2021
11:44 has the little marker down below now
11:46 inscribed up here in the brick it says
11:48 edwards which is the name of this
11:50 this business before what is used for
11:52 now
11:54 been repurposed obviously and used
11:56 as something else right over here is the
11:59 night depository looks like it's been
12:00 taped up it is it is they do not want
12:03 any deposits left at night
12:09 envelopes here what is it strengthen
12:09 finance
12:18 is this bank still open yes it is a
12:20 little more information here i like how
12:22 a lot of these
12:23 areas
12:24 has all the placards set up
12:32 back in january 15th of 1852
12:32 it was named for zachary taylor the 12th
12:35 president of the us
12:37 that's cool did not know that known as
12:39 old rough and ready
12:44 that was his nickname old rough and
12:44 ready to capture monterey
12:47 back in 1846
12:54 is that university here
12:54 oh rough and ready i never knew that was
12:55 his nickname either
12:57 so i learned something new every day
13:10 this is located at four main street
13:10 and if you need to get rid of of
13:12 coaches roaches
13:15 overnight also so you can't drop any
13:17 deposits overnight
13:19 but you can eliminate roaches
13:22 in downtown like this 250 to rent what
13:26 year was that you were running 1994.
13:29 that was in downtown that was in
13:30 downtown oklahoma it was on 8th street
13:32 which is just two blocks over from the
13:33 fort house
13:34 it can be so it can't be much more to
13:36 rent one of these you wouldn't think so
13:38 but in america's they're extremely high
13:41 oh wow look at this this is an old video
13:43 store
13:45 special times no not videos tvs and vcrs
13:48 oh they had movie rentals look
13:51 they did have movie rentals
13:54 yes
13:55 so was it a double store you got the
13:56 easy tax
13:58 and then you got the easy type of easy
14:01 things here
14:03 easy pawn and easy tax
14:07 pawn something you can use that to pay
14:08 your taxes it's all very easy
14:10 i'm amazed they didn't take that damage
14:13 so this so was it in both sides and i
14:16 would think because it signed spans both
14:18 buildings i guess would be one side was
14:20 the furniture and tvs and the other side
14:22 was moving around the balloons there
14:26 that is a that is a relic
14:29 special times rentals flowers balloons
14:31 moving rentals tvs vcrs furniture and
14:32 appliances
14:35 i like this painting here
14:41 they probably didn't oh look at the vcr
14:41 on top
14:44 brings back memories
14:46 a little tv do you ever recall renting a
14:48 vcr
14:49 no never rented one
14:51 we were had one
14:53 live with mom and dad we had tv look
14:55 just like that right
14:56 there old box tv you know
15:03 yeah the old box yeah we didn't get a
15:03 vcr until about 1986 a huge the excavate
15:07 the machine
15:08 laserdisc
15:10 big as a record absolutely i do i have a
15:12 few of those they have back to the
15:13 future on laserdisc
15:15 yes i still have back to future i never
15:17 watched it on laserdisc but i uh a
15:19 collector's item i'm peeking in the
15:20 window here and there
15:22 are some dvds back there and some
15:24 balloons this place is still active not
15:27 open today obviously
15:30 i am standing right next to
15:33 wasps yeah
15:35 look at your fingers
15:37 oh how do i wash my feet what does that
15:40 say
15:41 sounds like
15:42 reasons
15:44 but it's been there for a long while
15:49 i'm sorry i didn't mean to scare you
15:51 you're getting along you didn't start no
15:52 it's
16:05 zip code 31006.
16:05 okay there's bills okay this is unique
16:08 bill's beauty supply and food see if
16:11 they have coffee in here
16:12 think they have coffee in here
16:20 bills now i've never seen a beauty
16:23 supply place and food place
16:25 let's go in here and see if they got
16:26 coffee
16:28 bills
16:29 beauty supply and food
16:36 go across the next track up that way
16:36 okay this gentleman is letting know
16:38 where we can get
16:40 a cup of coffee it's it what were you
16:41 saying about how it's interesting they
16:42 didn't have it
16:44 nobody in this town seems to have coffee
16:46 this is georgia we have coffee you have
16:47 to go across the tracks like that guy
16:49 said go across the tracks
16:51 and get some coffee
16:53 they don't drink coffee
17:01 any place that has coffee
17:02 whatever side the track it's on for me
17:04 that's the right side of the tracks
17:06 that's the right side of the track so
17:07 i'm going where that guy told me to go
17:09 we missed this last time we did that
17:18 even has the wrought iron gates out
17:18 front there's a there's a car in there
17:21 how do you get that car in there
17:23 maybe it's impounded
17:25 could be that'd be so
17:27 cool to get in there look at the handles
17:34 oh those are cool
17:34 and that tells you who made it the iron
17:36 works just from cincinnati
17:38 stuart
17:40 cincinnati ohio
17:42 and though you just you can see right
17:43 straight in they don't have glass
17:45 windows it's just large
17:47 wow
17:49 think of the think of those that were in
17:50 there you know incarcerated
17:53 looking across
17:54 over there at that beauty supply store
17:56 thank you
17:57 when i get out when i break out of here
17:59 when i pull a shaw shank i'm gonna get
18:01 some coffee i'm gonna get some coffee
18:03 little to know
18:04 they got to go across the tracks yeah
18:06 what's in there
18:12 oh there sure is
18:12 so it's just used as storage
18:19 that is cool
18:19 well that's not the fact there's
18:20 lawnmower's story but i mean what town
18:22 was that
18:27 he was in a town where you saw a jail
18:27 inside a
18:28 building oh that was over in kite
18:30 georgia
18:31 kit named after a guy named k-i-g-h-t
18:35 who didn't want it named after him
18:37 because he didn't want the town being
18:39 named after him so he changed the name
18:41 just a little bit altered the spelling
18:43 of it well there's something similar
18:45 inside this
18:47 there's some lockers there
18:49 lockers and then you got the
18:51 yeah that's almost like a mobile
18:54 cell we're just going to follow this
18:55 blue truck right there as it goes
18:57 over the railroad tracks and that over
19:00 there is the active
19:01 coffee place coffee place
19:08 i would love for the train would come i
19:08 just wait and wait sometimes i spend
19:09 like 20 minutes waiting for a train just
19:11 to get one angle of a train going
19:13 through when we went to rose hill we got
19:15 to train at rose hill
19:17 it's always a it's a good thing when
19:18 that happens
19:19 when you can get that monorails and
19:21 trains
19:22 i'm just waiting around for them all the
19:23 time yeah
19:25 not only are there picnics oh look at
19:27 that there you go
19:28 but i'm noticing it says coffee bar
19:32 right up here
19:33 now it's not illuminated but it says
19:35 java select coffee bar we're getting
19:37 excited at the moment
19:39 right here it says at the moment
19:41 we're about to have ourselves
19:43 i know it really means it really means
19:45 stands for what actually what does atm
19:47 stand for automatic telemetry okay okay
19:49 accomplished all right tammy cheers
19:53 it's coffee time for tim and tammy
19:59 tim doesn't drink coffee he's getting a
19:59 soda
20:00 he's getting a coca-cola
20:07 i can't talk him into it however i did
20:07 get him to try my uh frappe from
20:09 starbucks
20:11 frappe fancy well you know it's a frozen
20:13 coffee so it's cold
20:15 have you ever had a cracker
20:17 i don't think i ever have oh my goodness
20:19 there you go right there when in georgia
20:22 drink coke and you went for the full
20:25 sugar coat
20:26 that's it the original taste
20:28 so now they've changed it from original
20:29 taste first it was just coca-cola then
20:32 it was new coke then it was coke classic
20:35 now we're dealing with the original
20:36 taste yeah buckeyes never touched by
20:38 human hands buck ice has never been
20:40 touched by human hands that's that's
20:42 headquartered in columbus too never been
20:44 touched by human hands
20:46 that was gonna i was gonna say this
20:47 eskimo could probably use
20:49 that's their that's their that's their
20:51 logo that's their slogan that's their
20:52 slogan never touched by human hands so
20:55 this eskimo is not human
20:57 he didn't touch it with his human hands
20:59 he's the he's the gloves
21:02 it sure does the truck's for sale
21:04 awesome i wonder if the firewood is for
21:06 sale with the truck it's like a bonus
21:14 i think you get that firewood for 100
21:14 and the trucks probably probably
21:17 you know what maybe it is maybe it is
21:19 just the firewood maybe i'd say the
21:21 trucks probably sell for 500 bucks i'd
21:23 pay 500
21:25 you pay 500. if it runs i would this
21:27 kind of has like a new orleans feel to
21:36 might get some beads down here all right
21:36 before we head over to that museum
21:38 i do want to pop in here real quick and
21:40 just see
21:44 see if they'll let us go in and look at
21:46 the courthouse
21:50 yeah this definitely has some uh some
21:50 back to the future vibes it does
21:53 picture doc brown up there
21:55 look at that
21:57 and even the trees kind of in the same
21:58 spot
21:59 you know when you watch i don't want to
22:01 get off on a movie tangent but when you
22:02 watch back to the future
22:04 you know when
22:05 when old biff's behind the tree
22:07 and the you know he's talking about the
22:08 car over there he's hiding behind a tree
22:10 like that it's kind of in the same
22:11 vicinity
22:14 okay that was a that was a side note
22:15 yeah that's fine you get off on moody
22:18 the manure
22:20 i remember that yep was that good that's
22:23 good was that a good old biff i think so
22:29 a little artistic rendering of the
22:29 courthouse here
22:42 it's like church pew style it does
22:42 almost reminds me of like a church
22:43 building
22:44 but it's a courthouse
22:46 right there look at this
22:48 up on the second level
22:51 it's beautiful though
23:00 the 12 chairs
23:00 safe to say this is where they put the
23:02 money absolutely
23:10 yeah that's that's a relic right there
23:10 all right how does that got wheels on
23:12 okay
23:13 you've been rolling around you can just
23:14 roll it right out the door i'm running
23:16 with you take the money and run with it
23:18 yes there's a phone call though
23:21 just want to show this real quick like
23:24 the barber shop was talking about this
23:25 earlier
23:26 oh there's an advertisement here on the
23:28 side too it says barbershop
23:30 but there's something back here
23:34 well maybe not it used to be
23:38 i don't think that was that no that was
23:39 windows used to be a window and they
23:41 blocked it and then up top to there
23:43 there was more back there yeah
23:54 call to see if that museum's open what's
23:54 the name of the museum ward edwards
23:57 information operator
23:59 kind of
24:00 gonna hold a ward edwards museum
24:04 it's still there
24:05 should we head over yes
24:07 okay we'll be right over
24:10 i thought she's calling marty from back
24:11 to the future though
24:13 that's back to the future right there
24:14 bud
24:16 it's true yeah wait a second
24:19 i was gonna look at the phone book and
24:20 see where a 1640 riverside drive was
24:24 blocked past maple john f kennedy drive
24:28 i am now in the tim and tammy time
24:31 mobile yeah
24:33 it's not it's not a time travel mobile
24:35 but it's a tim and tammy time mobile
24:37 yeah oh you you almost have a favorite
24:39 yeah i have big the foot and you have
24:40 who ray right ray-ray and the cows won't
24:43 even talk to tim anymore because they
24:44 want to talk to ray ray
24:46 yeah i try to talk to the cows like you
24:48 do and they just want to talk to ray
24:50 right here
24:51 it wasn't too far of a commute
24:53 maybe like half a mile on the other side
24:56 of the water tower over there and
24:57 there's this dilapidated train station
25:01 right there as well
25:02 and this is it the ward edwards museum
25:12 was that the ward edwards alarm and the
25:12 lady told me simply that ward edwards
25:15 billy and ward edwards
25:17 they owned this museum and they were
25:20 into politics
25:22 and this is where they stored all their
25:23 collection of all the different things
25:24 they picked up through the years okay 36
25:27 cents a gallon here on this pump
25:32 that was a while back oh yeah you can
25:32 see all the signs up on the roof there
25:38 gord edwards museum
25:38 and we still have adam
25:41 look at this the woodman of the world
25:42 sign
25:49 wow that's all rusted out
25:49 did you ever see the movie about schmidt
25:52 with jack nicholson
25:53 he worked at woodman of the world i
25:55 believe he worked at woodman of the
25:56 world in that move great movie highly
25:59 recommended look at the ceiling
26:06 look at this winston
26:06 filters right there
26:09 oh ladies night over here in the corner
26:15 i come over here to look because last
26:15 time we didn't know exactly what that
26:16 was
26:17 but i remember that
26:22 all along the roof here
26:22 so this is never open like inside's
26:24 never open
26:25 we've never been here when it was open
26:29 five dollars and 85 cents a pack that's
26:30 probably for a carton back then
26:32 it probably would because fight isn't
26:34 that about what they cost now what's it
26:35 cost to pack now yeah that's probably
26:37 for a carton
26:42 that's where a man belongs right there
26:42 out there in an overgrown field on a
26:44 motorcycle
26:45 puffing back on a camel
26:47 yeah this place is like a treasure trove
26:54 man would you like to get loose in a
26:54 place like that
26:56 phillips 66 and you've never seen this
26:58 place open its doors
27:00 no we have not
27:03 i would sure come see we
27:12 and this car's got the back window
27:12 busted up
27:17 oh look at this
27:18 coca-cola and you got dr pepper and rc
27:20 yeah now r.c i didn't mention this in
27:23 yesterday's video
27:25 about coca-cola but rc was also created
27:27 over in columbus yeah
27:29 by a pharmacist
27:37 now tom's food factory is in columbus
27:37 you know tom's food yeah it's in
27:38 colombia we actually have buffalo rock
27:40 headquartered in columbus at this point
27:42 right now that's taxi
27:46 there's a lot a lot of history over in
27:47 columbus with the food and beverage
27:49 industry
27:51 when i think of rc cola i think of andy
27:53 griffith he always would drink an rc
27:55 cola and get a moon pie
27:58 absolutely my daddy would go to a
28:00 different store if he went anywhere they
28:02 didn't have an rc he would leave and go
28:04 to another no kidding
28:05 he would just say that's that's not
28:06 where i'm gonna go it's not worth it
28:08 look at these like plastic chickens here
28:27 uh stuff if you look to your left though
28:27 across the road you'll see all the
28:29 weeping angels watching us as we walk by
28:32 all the weeping angels and you know
28:34 about the bottle trees i do know that
28:36 i've been to the bottle tree ranch on
28:37 route 66. do you know about the blue
28:40 bottles and how that's the ones that the
28:41 ghosts go in no that's where the bottle
28:43 trees come from the blue bottles have
28:45 ghosts really the spirits go in the blue
28:47 bottles because they're attracted to
28:48 blue and they can't get out that's why
28:50 when you're on a southern mansion's
28:51 porch the ceiling is usually kind of
28:53 like look it keeps the spirits away from
28:56 people
28:57 interesting you learned these things
28:59 from 13 alabama ghost and jeffrey
29:02 i didn't know that that's cool
29:04 you see a tire in the tub
29:09 that's about as southern as it gets
29:22 those are real bottles that have been
29:22 flattened this is
29:25 how many videos have you got have you
29:26 done you think over time 160 right now
29:29 160 videos how long you've been doing
29:31 the videos for a year and a half a year
29:34 and a half that's pretty good that's a
29:35 good amount of videos we currently have
29:36 400 subscribers
29:43 yeah so you'd be at 500 before you know
29:44 well hopefully
29:50 all the different directions here
29:50 let's see muscle shows alabama's 301
29:52 miles
29:54 jackson hole wyoming
29:57 1967.
29:59 the jimmy carter library is only 96
30:06 and you were just noticing that there's
30:06 a ward edwards bridge 11 miles from here
30:09 right there's a bridge named after him
30:11 also
30:12 so whoever owns this museum or at least
30:14 a namesake has a bridge
30:17 well there you go okay yeah
30:19 so some of the locals are kind of
30:22 trolling around
30:33 so is ward edwards still alive
30:34 does he it so is the mu is an actual
30:36 outdoor museum or just indoors to
30:38 indoors and outdoors
30:40 indoor museum too right now but uh it's
30:43 so jumped up okay
30:46 we in the process of moving his dollar
30:48 from atlanta so we got some of our stuff
30:51 in there okay
30:55 we're just walking around checking all
30:55 the cool stuff out
31:03 all right
31:03 so ward edwards
31:05 still around
31:06 you think that was bored no but he said
31:08 they were in the process of moving
31:10 towards daughters so he's probably akin
31:12 to him yeah
31:14 that sure does look like pluto
31:17 sure does
31:32 yeah look at that i got the little
31:32 woodstock guitar
31:33 and also it's only rock and roll
31:36 but i like it yeah you're right yeah
31:38 you know the person that sold that logo
31:40 the mouth logo
31:42 got hardly any money
31:44 from the rolling still sold it to them
31:45 for nothing
31:46 maybe not directly to them but whoever
31:48 sold the rights to that for next to
31:50 nothing and now it's like super popular
31:52 i didn't seek world champion right there
31:55 i
31:56 love it
31:58 i have a shirt this lamp this is also a
32:00 private sign
32:02 do you not read it
32:04 that yellow thing yeah it's like a
32:06 corral or some sort
32:08 it's like a it's like a pig chute
32:10 i'm just making that up i don't really
32:12 know what that is but i could just you
32:14 ever been to a fair and see pig races
32:17 yeah where they like yeah take them down
32:19 the chute
32:21 that's like a larger version of it maybe
32:23 it went straight up and it like covered
32:25 a fiery skate ladder you know what that
32:27 makes more sense not a lot of
32:29 bumper-to-bumper traffic through here
32:40 see well it's kind of hard inside but
32:40 those are crushed berries they are now i
32:42 stepped on them there's more here
32:44 but those are acorns over there too so i
32:46 know what the acorns are
32:53 because under this sweatshirt i got on
32:53 my alabama roller tie shirt
32:59 growing up i was always
32:59 always like bo jackson and auburn tigers
33:02 so that's that's kind of the enemy i
33:04 went to school with a boy he had a pair
33:06 of bow jacks and shoes but jackson gave
33:07 him to him gave him what when he went he
33:09 went to auburn he played football for
33:11 our school beaula high school and bo
33:12 jackson gave him those shoes when he
33:14 went to camp at auburn that is pretty
33:16 dang cool so cool that was like my my
33:19 youthful sports hero bo jackson now did
33:22 you go to where jackson leah who went to
33:24 jacksonville in bessemer i've been there
33:27 property is under surveillance we are
33:28 being watched see that is why obviously
33:31 there's cameras around that's why a
33:32 gentleman drove by
33:35 a lot of bird houses here
33:38 there's an all you can eat frog leg
33:40 restaurant
33:41 probably a cafe oh look at that
33:48 all you can eat frog legs a train has
33:48 not gone by
33:50 well now when we first started there was
33:52 a train remember
33:53 oh you're right earlier this morning
33:55 there was
33:57 a little zoomed in view of the water
33:58 tower there
34:00 butler georgia
34:06 kind of silhouetted by the sun but
34:06 kind of make it out
34:07 and just down the way a bit
34:10 i don't know maybe 300 yards 400 yards
34:12 from the courthouse and the water tower
34:15 is
34:16 the library
34:18 right over here
34:19 butler public library
34:21 let's see maybe if we could get some
34:23 photographs or information
34:26 about the town is it open
34:29 it's not open and just across from the
34:31 library that is not open
34:34 it's like an old homestead that used to
34:36 be on this property next to another
34:37 house
34:43 and this is like a
34:43 a brick wall here
34:46 so this might have been the driveway of
34:47 maybe a
34:48 an old house that was here
34:50 all right back down at the courthouse
34:52 and that's going to do it for today
34:55 you have sticker you said i did
35:02 one just flew away yeah
35:02 tim and tammy
35:04 time you can watch it on youtube
35:15 you feel like climbing up there and
35:15 recreating a dock brown moment no i was
35:17 thinking about maybe doing that you go
35:19 ahead we'll film it
35:25 a lift or something yeah
35:25 that's true it'd be tough to get up
35:31 all right i'll see you the next video
35:31 vlog
35:33 is over
35:34 should also note from here i'm gonna
35:36 drive for quite a ways
35:38 a few hours at least or more
