0:04 someone alert the Ghostbusters it looks
0:04 as if Slimer has reared its head and
0:07 he's leaving a trail there's no doubt
0:13 it's him welcome everyone Adam Zulu here
0:17 we're gonna cover a wide variety of
0:19 locations and topics as I wander around
0:22 streets and roads that I am not really
0:24 that familiar with it's my second
0:26 channel daily vlog channel but you learn
0:28 by doing and you immerse the senses by
0:31 wandering I just made that up it's the
0:36 daily woo I think my favorite jingo off
0:39 the album lights camera revolution is a
0:41 song called you can't bring me down and
0:44 they shot the cover right up they're
0:47 pretty freaking cool and what is pretty
0:49 much par for the course in this neck of
0:51 the woods they have their own set of
0:53 hand prints on the ground and I was
0:55 noticing tobe Hooper the director of
0:59 Texas Chainsaw Massacre who just passed
1:01 away right next to the director of The
1:04 Exorcist I can't be the only one who
1:06 gets just a little nervous walking
1:08 underneath these construction tunnels
1:10 that
1:12 activities going on up above and fits
1:15 the lap that it I can't be the only one
1:17 that gets nervous right check out the
1:19 front of this apartment complex I really
1:22 like the design above the cinder blocks
1:25 it's always interesting when you see all
1:28 the different types of architecture as
1:32 you want even the number up there has
1:35 that very interesting distinct fashion
1:39 to it I'm not a hundred percent positive
1:41 but this might possibly be the the gates
1:46 of the Gateway to Hades let's look at
1:49 this like weird entryway here this
1:51 little diner might seem normal at first
1:53 glance but take a closer peek at the
1:58 tree that is festooning itself out of
2:02 the windows they just cut out little
2:04 slots for this gargantuan beautiful
2:09 foliage to make its way out of the the
2:13 little porch area this section has been
2:14 given the name Sunset Junction and
2:17 amongst the artwork is this former road
2:21 you can tell at one point was a
2:22 thoroughfare and they have blocked it
2:24 off with planters and there are these
2:27 circular designs painted on the ground
2:30 all the way through where the vehicles
2:33 used to drive there's a very unusual
2:35 fountain that is no longer filled with
2:39 water I was doing a little reading
2:42 online about this and some consider this
2:44 to be the fountain that looks like
2:48 bedpans I could see that I could totally
2:52 see that scenario prepare thyselves now
2:55 prepare thyselves for Alice Cooper
3:01 pillow someone has adorned the side of
3:04 this wall with a painting in homage to
3:06 Calvin and Hobbes I always loved that
3:08 comic strip in those books when I was
3:11 growing up is it considered good luck to
3:13 dance above and upside down or maybe a
3:16 right-side up is that right side up or
3:18 upside down horseshoe it probably is it
3:21 probably would be beneficial to do wait
3:24 wait wait a second
3:26 Jim trap point fish are not only
3:29 beautiful in water but also on the
3:32 sidewalk and I was correct about the
3:34 name of this place they do title it
3:36 Sunset Junction wow this gentleman is
3:39 looking very majestic very majestic and
3:45 very biblical
3:46 indeed classic car alert check this bad
3:51 boy out
3:53 impressive
3:54 most impressive I pointed this out in
3:59 the past but I'm noticing a theme all
4:01 around Los Angeles you see these little
4:04 placards on the sidewalk private
4:06 property permission to pass revocable at
4:10 any times just on the normal sidewalk
4:14 where people wander at any moment they
4:17 can just say get lost back from the top
4:20 of the slight and Bank meant you can get
4:21 a perspective of where the Hollywood
4:24 sign is and the Griffith Observatory now
4:28 I'll break out the zoom lens and get a
4:31 little closer dun dun dun dun dun dun
4:34 dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dah
4:48 slightly dramatic soundtrack there gives
4:48 it the proper ambiance didn't feel well
4:50 I feel like this needs to happen this
4:54 needs I have to connect I have to
4:58 connect it's it's got to bunk this is
5:03 very clever a dragon a dragon I swear I
5:07 saw a dragon above mounted on an ashtray
5:11 and this is not the only mythical
5:13 creature right here along this shopping
5:16 area look at this what it exists it
5:22 actually exists I think about it I might
5:27 be a little bit different than the
5:29 normal population I can find
5:31 entertainment and the smallest what some
5:34 people consider to be mundane items just
5:37 on the side of the road or behind a
5:39 fence or back there you know nestled in
5:43 the nether regions of a street but to me
5:47 it's exciting at the immersiveness of
5:50 just seeing something new it is bizarre
5:53 when I even try to analyze it sometimes
5:56 I wonder what the heck am I getting so
5:59 excited about but that's just me I can
6:01 get the same joy out of just wandering
6:03 around places I've never been or have
6:05 been and seeing new things that I never
6:08 noticed before in places that I've been
6:10 multiple times then I would get watching
6:13 a movie watching a TV show watching
6:15 someone else's YouTube video just going
6:18 out doing it myself and enjoying life
6:22 continuing on to place your bets place
6:25 your bets is there a workable phone in
6:28 there whap whap wham wam want to go for
6:33 two for two
6:33 let's go two for two once again all bets
6:38 are off now is there a workable phone oh
6:40 yes yes there is 50% this character that
6:46 has been spray-painted tagged and
6:48 graffiti drawn on the side of the wall
6:50 is following suit of its creator and he
6:55 himself also is tagging and graffitiing
6:58 it's just a it's just a whole whirlwind
7:01 of of artwork right here in the parking
7:03 lot of this shopping centre is something
7:05 you normally would not see next to an
7:07 office supply store look at all of these
7:12 street lights just lined up they have
7:17 titled this the home for wayward street
7:20 lights an art installation project that
7:22 was going to last only one year placed
7:25 in 1993 in almost a quarter of a century
7:28 later they still remain pretty freaking
7:31 cool and I was noticing if you look at
7:34 the base of each and every one of them
7:37 there is a nameplate and a description
7:40 for example this one was used in Whitley
7:42 Heights and this one is just a standard
7:46 citywide residential model do you think
7:49 anyone ever exits out of there at night
7:51 walking to their car and gets completely
7:53 blind we don't need this much light out
7:56 here we don't need this much light you
8:01 see some spiderwebs have accumulated
8:03 down in that little open spot you can
8:06 almost use this as an obstacle course
8:07 winding in and out going to and fro this
8:11 could be on one of those America ninja
8:14 or the Ninja Warrior shows the the
8:17 challenge the challenge of the
8:19 streetlights I just made that out I'm a
8:21 copyright that hopefully no executives
8:23 here
8:24 steal my idea because it could go it
8:28 could go hey that guy is looking at me
8:30 very awkwardly one last look at the home
8:32 for wayward streetlights and I did count
8:35 them there are 25 which makes next year
8:37 the anniversary will they start adding
8:39 more on year 26 let me rephrase that I
8:42 was confused and a little thrown off by
8:44 the two gentlemen sitting on the
8:45 sidewalk directly behind me and I'm
8:47 gonna paraphrase in a nicer gentler
8:49 fashion of what they said excuse me sir
8:51 why are you taking photos in this
8:55 parking lot and that is that is the that
8:57 is a family-friendly version what I was
8:59 trying to say is there were 25
9:01 streetlights it's almost a 25 year
9:03 anniversary you know kind of IRA isn't
9:05 it ironic don't you think
9:07 and next year will they start adding
9:10 additional ones to coincide hopefully
9:12 that makes a little more sense you might
9:13 think this gentleman has a lot of pets
9:15 but in reality he works for a company
9:18 that walks dogs and you see that in a
9:20 lot of bigger cities coming up now on a
9:23 99-cent store that has an operational
9:27 spinning around sign even though they
9:30 still made those that completely are
9:33 still in working order this particular
9:36 chain of stores is similar to the Dollar
9:38 Tree on the East Coast but here on the
9:41 west coast there one cent cheaper and
9:44 something else I have never experienced
9:46 in any other place I've resided in the
9:49 past flower stores that are just tucked
9:52 away on the corner of retail parking
9:55 lots this place looks like it's been
9:56 here for years this is the most
9:58 populated area I've ever lived at
10:00 anywhere in the existence of the tenure
10:04 of my 43 years here on this planet
10:07 I like it it's totally totally different
10:11 realm than what I am used to living in
10:13 small towns
10:14 what I you know not even cities even
10:17 when I lived in st. cloud that was a
10:19 suburb of Orlando like 30 miles from
10:21 Orlando not in the heart not nestled in
10:25 the activity zone the plethora of people
10:30 and things the sights the sounds the
10:34 wonderful and not so wonderful smells I
10:38 love it here it's a good place to reside
10:42 to call home for now everything changes
10:46 no song everything changes nothing looks
10:51 the same through the eyes of the vlog I
10:54 think that's the 2017 updated version I
10:58 will see you tomorrow
