0:35 during a Saturday night cruise an event

0:36 they've been having for over three

0:40 sure that you find an actual parking lot

0:42 $10 park over here at the Red Lobster do

0:45 not park somewhere you don't think you

0:47 should cuz the tow trucks are out or

0:50 don't park somewhere you probably

0:52 shouldn't Park cuz the tow trucks are

0:54 out in complete full force even just

0:57 pulling in I notice a car being towed so

1:01 make sure you're parking in the right

1:02 spot and learn that the hard way a week

1:04 or so ago in celebration welcome

1:05 everyone Adam the woo here was busy

1:08 doing some stuff at the new Homestead

1:10 earlier time got away from me and I

1:12 realized I need to go out check out the

1:15 last car crew Saturday night cruise of

1:19 2023 an event I usually will film two

1:22 maybe three times a year and I'm doing

1:23 it tonight the last one of 23 I'm

1:27 inviting you to join me

1:31 shall and this is always a good time and

1:33 always very busy dare I say there's

1:36 probably more people here on Saturday

1:38 night than there are the other six

1:40 nights of the week I do love Oldtown CMI

1:43 it is a staple of Roadside Attraction

1:47 here in CMI Florida but on some days

1:49 it's not too busy Saturday nights whole

1:52 other ball

1:54 game you got the Galaxy spin is running

1:57 over there which is basically like a

2:00 mouse coaster Fair style Mouse coaster

2:02 you got the Pirates Adventure Golf you

2:04 can also pay to park here as well and

2:06 all these parking here are kind of free

2:08 rain so someone pulls out you can park

2:10 in one of these spots but make sure you

2:12 are parked in the lines as stated Towing

2:16 in full

2:18 effect you see a lot of people just kind

2:20 of circling around trying to find those

2:23 free spots I paid $10 which I don't

2:26 think is too bad of a

2:27 deal I kind of was expecting to pay like

2:30 20 but it was only 10 look another

2:32 person's getting launched up there now

2:35 if you want to park really close you can

2:36 pay 20 this blinking Arrow here at the

2:40 tourist info store VIP parking 20

2:43 bucks or you park right over

2:46 here for half that cars start cruising

2:49 at 8:30 7:14 right now check out the

2:53 weather 53° cool crisp wonderful it is

3:04 breeze and chill in the air post

3:25 here over next to the Fun Spot

3:30 oh look they got the different colors on

3:31 the ferris wheel

3:33 nice man it feels so good

3:36 out really good I treasure the evenings

3:40 where I'm not sweating in Florida which

3:42 makes me wonder so I saw a tow truck in

3:45 here are people allowed to park

3:48 here cuz there's no sign saying you

3:50 can't park there's also no sign saying

3:52 you can park and the truck I saw Towing

3:55 someone away was down here but it could

3:58 have been maybe in front of the

3:59 restaurant up here maybe they called

4:00 someone I see this is all in the

4:07 grass and I had like I said I had an

4:07 issue about a week ago in the grass I

4:10 just now I'm paranoid that's why I just

4:12 paid the 10 bucks now that I am a

4:14 resident a

4:16 homeowner here in this vicinity you

4:19 never know what the future holds I'm not

4:21 saying might not be anytime soon you

4:23 never know maybe I will be taking a

4:26 classic car and the Saturday night

4:28 cruise one night again not anytime soon

4:32 person behind me is like hacking up

4:33 along do love this Ferris this is not

4:35 the original Ferris wheel there was a

4:36 ferris wheel before this and they

4:38 replaced it I don't know maybe a decade

4:40 ago

4:48 maybe five or six years ago they

4:48 did changed it with the ones with the

4:55 balloons not real hot air balloons

4:55 obviously just a just props it's an

4:58 illusion gone on this many times I don't

5:00 think I have time to go on tonight cuz

5:01 the car cruise is starting relatively

5:04 soon also Park like kind of where I did

5:07 which is like half a block away then

5:09 attempting to pull in here and find

5:12 parking cuz you're not going to find any

5:13 parking in here there will be none see

5:16 everyone just going in they're Shi

5:17 shifting them over that way this Lane

5:19 that I am in now if I'd have gotten here

5:22 an hour or so

5:23 ago people would have been pulling in

5:25 even though the arrow shows that way

5:50 Saturday car cruise 85 I guess is an

5:56 older so 85 84 83 and anything older

6:01 vomatron going in full effect right

6:03 there no thank you I will never do that

7:06 192 and it's good to see this thing

7:08 running again this is kind of similar to

7:10 Triceratop spin a former tricerat Top

7:12 Spin over at Animal Kingdom but this

7:15 this was down for a while kind of showed

7:17 this about uh maybe two or 3 weeks ago

7:19 where they kind of had it up and run it

7:20 again and it's good to see it's still

7:22 happening so right over here this is

7:23 kind of similar to the former trto spin

7:25 at Animal Kingdom same ride kind of

7:27 vehicle and from this angle kind of

7:28 walking around where the cars are parked

7:30 they're all going to Stage themselves up

7:31 and start driving down the little main

7:34 road at 8:30 all right according to this

7:36 I got about an hour or so so I'm going

7:38 to go over here to this little coffee

7:40 stand get myself piping hot caffeinated

7:41 beverage late in the evening all right

7:43 change of plans on that one just heard

7:44 another couple that was waiting they

7:46 said there was going to be 20 minutes to

7:47 brew up some coffee so I'll find another

7:49 spot to get some coffee no bicycles no

7:51 skateboards no roller blades yeah this

7:54 place many years ago was very

7:56 interesting for many many years this had

7:58 like some a little comedi had George

8:01 Burns up here it had like a Cosby

8:03 painting up on the side this is back

8:04 this is back in the late '90s get some

8:06 discount tickets in here for $39

8:08 probably a time share I mean I can't

8:10 confirm but that's probably what it is

8:12 you got to listen to like a little shiel

8:14 then you get some uh cheap tickets $39

8:18 now here's a store that's available so

8:19 if you wanted to rent out of store and

8:21 have a little shop here at 3:30 you

8:23 could do that right next to the ATM

8:25 still got all the Christmas decor up

8:27 obviously most places keep it up till

8:28 post

8:29 New Year's but check out the check out

8:32 the tires here that have a little

8:35 snowman on it and then Route 66 Car

8:38 theme through here as well all right

8:40 here's another stand oh I'm in luck I am

8:42 in luck the best in town fresh and hot

8:46 coffee surfed here who knew just like

8:48 elf all right it's kind of a mess in

8:50 there to get coffee a lot of people are

8:52 getting other things it's taking a while

8:53 I don't know if they have any real fresh

8:55 coffee ready to rock so I'm going to

8:57 walk over to the 7-Eleven over here and

8:59 get a large coffee probably be a little

9:02 more convenient to hit a convenient

9:03 store up there's no designated coffee

9:06 place at Oldtown I asked a couple of the

9:08 workers we don't have a designated

9:09 coffee place but we do have a couple

9:11 stands to sell other items like

9:13 alcoholic beverages and juices and

9:16 things that can make you a coffee H that

9:19 would be a good business opportunity to

9:20 have a coffee shop at Oldtown don't know

9:22 how well it would do probably not well

9:24 at all interesting over here they have a

9:26 whole section specifically for these

9:27 little golf cart

9:30 type electric vehicles that's kind of

9:34 neat there's a bunch of them look at

9:37 this now as I'm walking this way all

9:40 these cars are looking at me thinking

9:41 I'm going back to my car there's a car

9:42 directly behind me just like crawling at

9:45 a crawling Pace thinking that I am going

9:48 to be getting in my

9:49 car kind of reminds me when I used to

9:51 park in downtown celebration my

9:53 apartment they'd all be waiting right

9:55 over here next to the Celebration

9:58 Suites look how look how cozy this place

10:01 is the celebration sweets this is right

10:03 here at celebrations you can see

10:05 everyone's just attempting to pull in

10:07 here trying to find parking but the

10:09 reality is there really isn't any I just

10:11 learned something freaking

10:14 amazing the celebration

10:17 suits over here which I think used to be

10:21 classic game room oh my goodness look in

10:26 here they have Fast and the Furious

10:27 Tokyo Drift they have Cruisin Exotica I

10:41 Capcom they have Miss Pacman and

10:43 Galaga I might have to come back over

10:46 here at some point they have off-road

11:39 worked at Walmart in the '90s on our

11:41 break whole stock crew would go down and

11:45 Celebration sweets look over here there

11:48 is a coffee stand

11:50 cappuccino coffee things like this

11:53 there's no one over here this is like a

11:55 just like a 5 500 ft from Oldtown all

11:58 right there's an old Old Town Coffee

12:00 hack if ever there was one didn't have

12:01 to walk all the way over to the

12:04 7-Eleven got my piping hot caffein

12:07 beverage right here nice and you can

12:09 just you see it just right there might

12:11 have to use that in the future cheers

12:14 many years ago there used to be a

12:15 machine you put a couple dollars in it

12:17 was a hurricane simulator machine right

12:19 over there on that corner but it's been

12:21 long gone taking it to me with these

12:23 cones here you'll be parked from the

12:24 hotel so people are just double parking

12:27 over here on this side

12:29 I mean I don't know that's I think you'd

12:31 probably be I think both are probably

12:33 frowned upon looks like they've staning

12:35 this off with some cones as well so

12:38 evidently you can't drive well I think

12:40 you never mind I'm getting my bearings

12:42 are a little mixed up that's where the

12:44 turnaround is up there there cones might

12:46 have probably already been there before

12:47 but a lot of cones everywhere you've

12:49 heard of the 99 cent store how about the

12:51 full dollar how about the full dollar

12:54 store that's a new one which s sits next

12:56 to The Groovy shop life is good look at

12:59 this Cavalcade of iconic characters all

13:01 riding a little VW bus it's been a long

13:04 time since he rocked and rolled all

13:06 right popping over through Fun Spot real

13:09 quick before heading over to where the

13:11 cars are parked once again showing it

13:14 right there the sign saying Oldtown and

13:17 N now some of these are for sale as well

13:19 including this Jeep right here kind of

13:21 looking down the line some people are

13:22 out here just to cruise them and other

13:24 are probably trying to sell them look at

13:26 that thing and that's not as bad as a

13:27 vomatron but even that right there

13:30 probably not going to be the most

13:31 enjoyable on your on your tummy got a

13:33 little live entertainment out here this

13:36 band I believe they're called The

13:38 Rundown the performance some cover

13:42 songs right here the main

13:44 stage me yeah the

13:51 not I think most classic cars I think

13:53 I'm partial to like old trucks I really

13:55 like kind of old timey trucks yeah you

13:57 put a set of bullhorn on the front of

14:49 back of the truck

14:58 remind me of the one the truck driver

14:59 adventures and babysitting was driving

15:26 the ride is temporarily closed for

15:29 maintenance but the tiled worldl full

15:38 hurricane the ride rules are right there

15:57 cars go around this corner they pull up

16:01 right here and then they start that way

16:03 and then they head that direction down

16:05 the main drag I don't know if it's

16:06 called Main Street but I refer to it as

16:08 the main street of Oldtown this store

16:10 has been here for as long as I can

16:11 remember even back to the 9s I think

16:13 it's Black Market Minerals he been here

16:17 a long time with all their little

16:19 rocks trinkets

16:22 knickknacks other things like that all

16:24 adornable Tiki items up here oh got a

16:28 little fossil mining you can do right

16:30 over here you got some cheeky stuff up

16:32 top there little things you can have a

16:35 cheeky backyard or a cheeky porch even a

16:38 zultan that looks like a pirate oo that

16:41 dog is being toted through there rting

16:43 in style doggy and it begins got the

16:45 pace car little where can I get one of

16:48 these I want to drive one of those

16:49 around celebration look A Classic Car

16:51 golf cart if you will like a pace car I

20:10 be in Oldtown I learned my lesson last

20:12 week and I feel bad for this drive we're

20:14 going to get tow trying to probably out

20:16 here with his family trying to enjoy the

20:18 Saturday night

21:52 the basically they just pull up so he's

21:55 waiting to cut through here he's going

21:56 to tow someone over here as well but

21:59 they were basically parked not in the

22:01 line so example this was kind of what I

22:03 wanted to show I mean granted it's break

22:04 you're breaking the rules but if you

22:06 park here and this is not in a

22:08 line you'll get towed

22:11 here and I think he has the one picked

22:14 out he's going to choose is probably

22:15 going this red car that's parked just

22:18 beside of the line of where it

22:20 is yep it's probably going to be this

22:22 red car right

22:31 here is not Speedy as the other company

22:31 was you know in a way maybe they're just

22:33 waiting for the person to show up and be

22:36 like hey what are you doing and then

22:37 they kind of give him a free pass okay

22:39 so he pulls around the front he's going

22:42 to back it

22:43 in and then let's see what happens

22:46 here everyone has to wait for him to get

22:49 the car out of here let's see how long

22:51 the connection time is so he pulls it in

22:55 just like that it's just one person on

22:56 duty

22:59 backs it in just like that he's

23:09 slow connects it in okay it's hooked up

23:09 underneath does he get out and connect

23:10 anything okay he puts the parking brake

23:13 on oh there's actually two guys there's

23:15 two people other guy going to get

23:21 out they're not in a

23:21 rush put the tie put the clamp on oh

23:25 what is that thing okay he's going to

23:27 put something around the back to haul it

23:29 off two different tire

23:31 mechanisms just like that I guess that's

23:33 for like a safety thing they mounted on

23:35 the side to roll the car away yeah this

23:38 is definitely way slower than when they

23:40 were Towing the other night

23:51 Walk might get paid by the

23:51 hour probably by the car BR what are you

23:55 doing now coming over here to get the

23:56 tail in when it's c cing back around the

23:58 other side of the

24:00 road so my recommendation if you're

24:03 going to go to the Saturday night cruise

24:05 or just anything in general take a

24:07 lesson from me I learned my lesson last

24:09 week do not park anywhere that you're

24:11 not supposed to park at oh thing's in

24:15 full spinning

24:19 mode people still pulling in

24:33 I love these old advertising look at

24:33 this Pepsi Cola bigger bottle better

24:35 flavor got the 5 Cent cigar ad over here

24:46 too the best advice from being a a local

24:46 around here and going to Elon so many

24:47 times just pay the5 10 $20 to park in

24:53 find parking if just don't don't try to

24:54 circle around you're just taking a

25:01 mind and not circling around for an hour

25:05 trying to find parking and then taking a

25:06 chance should I park here should I not
