0:04 at the Disneyland Hotel and look at that

0:08 majestic carpet prominently displaying

0:11 Sleeping Beauty Castle. And I have

0:14 something amazing as well. I am

0:16 prominently displaying a caffeinated

0:18 beverage that has extra cream, extra

0:20 sugar, and just a splash of

0:25 vanilla flavoring. It's my second

0:27 channel, Daily Vlog channel.

0:29 The Daily. Woo! This place is amazing.

0:31 The Disneyland Hotel. The ambiance in

0:35 here is very, very cool. The stairways

0:37 are sparkling with goodness and the

0:40 escalators are in full working fashion.

0:44 But I want to show you something really

0:46 cool. Throughout the hallways, they

0:48 actually have a new display showing the

0:51 history of the Disneyland Hotel, which

0:54 we are standing at right now. Through

0:58 the decades, this says, and all this

1:01 whole area changes occasionally with

1:03 different theming and different topics

1:06 and articles. And right now, currently,

1:09 they have this displayed. And look who

1:11 is here enamored with the history of the

1:14 Disneyland Hotel. It is Jay here and he

1:17 is looking at the board that is called

1:20 the 50s and the 60s which is when the

1:24 Disneyland Hotel opened was in the 50s

1:27 and it was when it first created it was

1:29 not owned and created by Walt Disney. It

1:32 was a separate man a separate entity but

1:34 you can actually see through the decades

1:38 you can actually see how the Disneyland

1:40 Hotel has changed. The layout of it has

1:44 changed. So, let's just look around at

1:47 some of the Oh, yes. This is the

1:49 original Disneyland Hotel before they

1:52 expanded it over. Now, this is actually

1:55 much larger. And now there's more than

1:58 one building. There's not just one

1:59 building anymore. There are I think

2:01 there are three buildings. Am I correct?

2:04 Three towers. The pool in the middle.

2:07 The very fantastic water slide that

2:09 looks like a Montreal out there as well.

2:57 of the Disneyland Hotels.

3:04 So, yeah, here it is. The Rathers and

3:04 the Disneyland Hotel. Walt Disney was so

3:07 convinced that Disneyland was going to

3:09 be a success that he believed it needed

3:10 a first class hotel and his friend Jack

3:15 Rather was on the same page as him and

3:17 opened up the Disneyland Hotel. And

3:20 here's actually Jack Rather riding on

3:23 Peter Pan's flight. That was obviously

3:25 before the insane lines that always

3:28 flock over to Peter Pan's flight.

3:30 He wait 70 minutes to

3:31 No, he was probably not waiting.

3:33 Probably because he built the hotel, he

3:36 got a fast pass. The only person in

3:38 history,

3:39 maybe besides President Nixon that had a

3:41 fast pass to actually go on.

3:44 Oh, wait. Look at this. He must had

3:46 unlimited fastpasses because he is on

3:49 Peter Pan's flight again. That is crazy.

3:52 So, he he definitely had full run of

3:56 Peter Pan's flight. So this one over

3:57 here, here's another one that says

3:59 Disneyland through the decades, but this

4:01 is 1970s

4:03 and 1980s. And here is the whole gang

4:07 right there. Donald, Goofy, Pluto,

4:11 Mickey, there's Jack Rather right there.

4:15 Very cool. You can see this is when they

4:16 started to build more than just the one

4:18 tower. And look at this. So this is what

4:20 it looked like in the 70s and 80s right

4:23 there. That is a pretty awesome

4:32 really stopped happening in the 70s and

4:34 80s. But Minnie Mouse of the 70s is way

4:36 more of a party animal. She would dawn

4:39 her bathing suit, get a flotation

4:41 device, and float around in the pool.

4:44 You do not see that in this day and age.

4:46 In 2015, Jay, you do not actually see

4:50 Usually, mice are frowned upon in the
