0:06 Fridays are a magical wonderful day. And

0:09 today is even extra special wonderful

0:11 because I have a special announcement

0:14 that I'm now going to tell you that I've

0:16 actually the last couple days hinted at.

0:20 People are festoning their brains with

0:23 all kind of ideas about what this

0:25 special announcement is. A lot of people

0:29 on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter were

0:32 talking, battling back and forth on what

0:35 was going to be delivered from my mouth

0:38 on this Friday from Southern California.

0:41 And the reason I didn't give that away

0:43 earlier than today was basically because

0:46 at 9:00 a.m. today, just a little short

0:49 while ago, the moment happened, and I

0:53 did not want to jinx it. Jinxing is when

0:56 you think of something too much, you

0:58 talk about it too much. When people talk

1:00 about things before they actually

1:02 happen, sometimes that actually throws a

1:04 monkey wrench, a jinxy monkey wrench.

1:07 When I think of a monkey, I always think

1:09 of the name of the monkey being Jinx E

1:13 holding a monkey wrench. And I did not

1:16 want to throw that into the equation.

1:18 So, the special announcement, fantastic

1:21 news for me is I am moving to Southern

1:26 California, Orange County, starting

1:29 right now. And it's echoey because I am

1:32 actually in a room.

1:35 Four years ago, I moved out of my

1:37 apartment in St. Cloud, Florida, and

1:39 I've been living in my van, sleeping on

1:42 people's couches. Occasionally, when I'm

1:44 in Florida, I stay with my mom and dad

1:46 who live in St. cloud. But usually about

1:49 80% of the time, 80% of those four

1:51 years, I've been on the road traveling

1:54 all across the country through the US. I

1:58 think I've been to 46 of the 48

2:00 continental United States as well as

2:03 Mexico as well as Canada.

2:06 Traveling, filming videos, all that will

2:10 continue, but on a much greater scale.

2:13 I've always been on the East Coast. I've

2:15 lived in St. clouds since 1991 in

2:18 Florida. Before that, my dad was a

2:20 minister. We moved all over. I was born

2:22 in Mississippi, lived in Oklahoma, so I

2:25 travel quite a bit. I have a pretty good

2:27 extensive knowledge of the great US of

2:31 A, but the West Coast always kind of

2:33 eluded me. And basically, I had never

2:35 actually been to California till about a

2:37 year and a half, two years ago. Coming

2:40 out here, I realized there is a plethora

2:43 of things to film. Me being an 80s nerd,

2:47 California, all the coast of California

2:51 is filled with the goodness of movie

2:54 locations as well as abandoned places,

2:57 theme parks, all the wonderful things

2:58 that I am passionate and excited about.

3:02 So, I got to thinking about a year year

3:04 and a half ago, I should move to the

3:06 West Coast somewhere on the West Coast.

3:09 In this last trip, coming from Florida,

3:11 coming cross country, I actually made it

3:13 to Disneyland and watched the fireworks

3:15 on New Year's Eve. It was one of my

3:17 resolutions pre New Year's resolutions

3:20 to actually show up at Disneyland 2015,

3:24 be in California. And at that time, I

3:26 didn't think I was actually going to

3:27 move to California, but I found a cozy

3:32 little place for a steal. And I'm

3:34 actually going to be living with two

3:36 roommates that I will divulge their

3:38 information later, but I do not want to

3:40 give too much away at this moment

3:42 because I haven't talked to them yet.

3:44 And I do not want to spill their beans,

3:48 if you will. But I have my own room and

3:51 currently the house that we are renting

3:54 in Orange County, California, is the

3:58 first place that I've actually been in

4:01 in 4 years. January 1st, actually

4:04 December 31st, January 1st, at the start

4:08 of 2011, I sold all my possessions,

4:11 moved out of my apartment that I had

4:13 decorated, very awesome. A lot of

4:15 heartfelt items I sold on Craigslist, on

4:18 Facebook, on eBay. I got rid of

4:20 everything and I started traveling

4:23 constantly. I quit my job about 6 months

4:26 later. So, I didn't really start

4:27 traveling until probably August 2011.

4:31 ahead 6 months not paying rent that I

4:33 paid my van off and there's been a lot

4:35 of videos some documentaries people have

4:37 done on that whole fascinating

4:41 subject but I am actually sitting in a

4:44 room that's what the echo is do you want

4:47 to see what I own do you want to see the

4:49 possessions that are now in this small

4:52 teeny tiny house in Orange County that I

4:57 now at 9:00 a.m. on this Friday call

5:00 home.

5:02 That is the weirdest thing. A home kind

5:06 of brings a little tear to my eye, but

5:08 I'm not going to cry for you, sir,

5:11 ma'am, or children, because that is not

5:14 what the purpose of this vlog is. This

5:15 is a happy occasion. Let's not bicker

5:18 and argue about who killed who. This is

5:22 supposed to be a happy occasion. And

5:24 this

5:33 is my room.

5:33 And I'm on the air mattress that I just

5:35 pulled out of the back of my van. I

5:37 really own basically nothing except some

5:40 flip-flops, a wallet, my camera is over

5:43 there, my laptop in the laptop bag, my

5:47 bag of clothes, all the clothes, all my

5:49 earthly possessions, most of my earthly

5:51 possessions are right there in that

5:54 little corner.

5:57 And this is going to be my room. This is

5:59 my room. I have a ceiling fan. I have

6:02 lights. I have blinds.

6:06 And there's nobody here but me. I picked

6:08 up the keys, talked to the realtor, the

6:11 super if you will, got the keys, and I

6:14 have now actually moved in. There's

6:16 nothing in this house. There's no

6:18 fridge. There's no furniture. Let me

6:21 show you what's in the house. You want

6:22 to take a look at the house? Join me,

6:26 shall you? Into a new adventure in my

6:30 life of renting a home with roommates.

6:33 I've never done that before. before.

6:35 I've had roommates in apartments. Never

6:36 had roommates in a house. I think it's

6:39 going to be a fun experience. Their room

6:42 will be right through there. I don't

6:44 want to divulge their room. They're

6:47 going to be buried back there into the

6:50 nether regions of the home. It's

6:52 actually really cool. A lot of Southern

6:53 California homes do not have central

6:56 air. This has central air, which is

6:58 actually really cool. It's actually nice

7:00 and cool right now in California. The

7:01 bathroom is in here. Here is my

7:05 bathroom. My own personal bathroom,

7:08 which will also be the house bathroom in

7:10 case we have any guests over. We have to

7:12 entertain people. This will be the

7:15 bathroom right here. And look at this.

7:18 The living room area.

7:22 Awesome.

7:24 There's my jacket, my hoodie, my Adam

7:27 the Woo sunglasses, and as you can see

7:29 from over here, there is no fridge. very

7:32 unusual fridge area. So, we have to get

7:35 a fridge here. Back in here, we do not

7:38 have a washer and dryer yet. There is no

7:41 washer and dryer. This place is as bare

7:44 bones as they come. So, basically,

7:48 I slash, me and the team of roommates

7:52 are going to have to decorate this place

7:55 with furniture. I am a big advocate of

7:58 thrift stores, pawn shops, flea markets,

8:02 swap meets. So, I am going to be this

8:05 weekend, probably today and tomorrow,

8:08 I'm going to leave here and I'm going to

8:10 get internet connected. I have made an

8:13 appointment to get fast Wi-Fi. And a lot

8:17 of people are thinking, you travel

8:18 around your van all the time. Are you

8:20 going to keep doing videos? Yes, the

8:22 videos are going to continue tenfold. If

8:26 not 10fold, at least threefold,

8:28 four-fold. The beauty of this, this will

8:30 probably be the last daily woo vlog that

8:34 you see not in HD. You thought I was

8:39 going to say this is the last daily woo,

8:40 but that is not true. A lot of people

8:42 have complained, have actually given

8:44 their opinion saying, "Man, we wish

8:45 these blogs that you do every day were

8:47 in HD." That is going to happen, ma'am.

8:50 child. And sir, there will be HD vlogs.

8:54 Not today because I do not have internet

8:56 connected in this home yet, but I am on

8:59 my way to pick up the router. And I'm

9:01 actually getting the fastest internet

9:03 you can get because for 4 years I have

9:06 been sitting in McDonald's. I have been

9:08 sitting in libraries. I have been paying

9:11 money for hotels. So I thought to

9:13 myself, there's so much stuff in

9:16 California that I want to film, that I

9:18 want to do. Why not just stay in

9:21 California for a while? And the really

9:22 great thing is I can actually stay here,

9:25 Southern California, not far from

9:27 Disneyland, not far from Knottberry

9:29 Farm, only about an hour and a half

9:32 north of San Diego, from Mexico. I have

9:36 my passport. I can go film vlogs in

9:38 Tijana, then come back up here to the

9:41 home, upload them. I could still go on

9:43 little week, two week, three-w weekek

9:46 road trips as well as fly anywhere in

9:49 the country to do videos and I'll

9:51 actually be saving a little bit more

9:54 money than I was spending money on

9:56 hotels each night, spending money in

9:58 gas. I can pre-plan things out now,

10:00 actually having internet, and having my

10:04 laptop, which eventually I want to

10:05 actually get a desktop computer with a

10:08 little bit bigger screen. I can actually

10:09 research my videos and put a lot more

10:11 effort into my main channel, the Adam

10:13 the Woo videos, as well as these vlogs.

10:17 I'm pretty excited about the West Coast,

10:21 not only California, but I was actually

10:23 looking from where I am going to Salt

10:25 Lake City is only 9 hours. Utah, I can

10:27 film some Utah videos. I can go to Vegas

10:29 in only three or four hours, film some

10:31 Vegas videos, as well as get lost in the

10:35 middle of the desert. Maybe I could

10:37 travel out through the desert for a week

10:38 or two, sleep in the van still, but then

10:40 come back and actually have a home base,

10:44 which is insane. A home base. This is

10:46 going to be my Mecca, the Adam the Woo

10:49 Mecca for a while. At least a year. We

10:52 signed a year lease in this house. I

10:56 almost said apartment, but this place is

10:58 way better than apartment. It's actually

11:00 super super epic. No way I could afford

11:03 this without the two other roommates

11:05 that are actually going to be here later

11:07 in the month or maybe even later this

11:10 week. So, I'm excited about introducing

11:12 you to them. I'm excited about my new

11:15 life.

11:17 It's very It's a very amazing feeling to

11:21 be somewhere that you can call home.

11:24 Four years sleeping in Walmart parking

11:26 lots in the freezing cold.

11:31 It's It blows my mind. I'm getting a

11:33 little emotional now even thinking about

11:35 how exciting this news is. Hopefully,

11:38 you find the news as exciting as I am.

11:41 And there's other news coming soon. I

11:45 have other announcements coming soon

11:47 that have to do with me being in this

11:50 area as well as still traveling. In

11:53 fact, I also wanted to mention I'm

11:54 actually going to be doing some

11:55 appearances. I don't want to give too

11:57 much away, but I have some appearances

11:59 in 2015 at different areas of the

12:03 country. So, I will not be sitting in

12:05 this house. This might be one of the

12:07 only daily Woo vlogs you will ever see

12:10 in this house because I cannot sit

12:12 around. I have to travel. And what I was

12:15 saying about the appearances, people

12:17 actually want me to show up to their

12:18 events and do appearances. So, that's

12:21 happening in 2015. There's one that's

12:24 actually happening in Oklahoma in

12:26 August. So, Oklahoma, central Oklahoma.

12:29 I will be in you in August. Planning on

12:32 going to Dragon Con in Georgia, Atlanta,

12:34 Georgia in August as well. And some East

12:37 Coast stuff. Maybe some New York sh some

12:40 New York City stuff. So, California is

12:44 going to be inundated with Adam the Woo.

12:47 However, just like my home base in

12:48 Florida was my parents and I was only

12:50 there a couple months a year. That's

12:53 kind of how it's going to be here in

12:55 California, Southern California. But my

12:58 downtime, editing, pre-planning,

13:02 organizing, enjoying some time, chill

13:07 time by myself in that room with a

13:10 closed door, regaining my thoughts,

13:12 regaining my plans, regaining passion

13:15 for doing videos. All that is going to

13:19 be harnessed right here in the Adam the

13:22 Woo home base. We should make a name for

13:24 this. What should this home be called?

13:32 on. But like I said, you probably will

13:34 not see very many vlogs from in this

13:37 house because there is so much out there

13:39 to be seen. I've written a list. I wrote

13:42 a book and I on the front of this

13:44 notebook I wrote, what did I write?

13:46 Write it down, then go do it. And I have

13:49 a list of like a hundred vlogs that I am

13:53 going to be filming for you guys. The

13:55 awesome thing is I am an early bird. I

13:57 will wake up early around 6:00 or 7

13:59 every morning. I will go to where I need

14:02 to film either sound San Diego, I'll go

14:04 up to Los Angeles. I'll go anywhere in

14:06 this area, film an awesome daily vlog,

14:09 then come back here to the decent Wi-Fi

14:12 and upload it. That just blows my mind.

14:14 And I'm actually thinking right now,

14:15 where am I going to stay tonight? Whose

14:17 couch am I going to sleep on tonight?

14:19 I've been staying at Zoso's house. He's

14:21 been in some videos of mine recently. He

14:23 was kind enough to let me stay in his

14:25 house this last week and other past

14:27 weeks. It's good to have friends on the

14:29 internet. It's good to have you guys

14:31 with me. So, thanks to Zoso. Thanks to

14:33 everybody else in the last four years

14:36 who has helped me travel. The traveling

14:38 will not stop. Let me make one point. I

14:41 made this already in the past vlog in

14:43 the past couple minutes of this vlog.

14:46 The vlogs are continuing. The daily

14:49 channel is not stopping. It's going full

14:51 force. I'm almost to a thousand days.

14:54 940 something days. 950 something days.

14:57 What day is this? This is a historic day

15:00 in my life. And honestly, I was sitting

15:03 in the room before I started filming and

15:05 I started to shed a little bit of a tear

15:08 because I have a lot of memories of

15:11 basically when I told people I was going

15:13 to sell my stuff, move out of my

15:15 apartment. I got a lot of negativity

15:17 from people that were kind of close to

15:19 me, friends and whatnot. And I'm

15:22 wondering now with this announcement,

15:24 now that people are used to my lifestyle

15:27 and what I do, I'm hoping this

15:29 announcement doesn't really create too

15:31 much negativity. I hope you are on board

15:34 with me. The good thing is I do not work

15:36 a regular 9-to-five job. I sell

15:39 t-shirts. I travel around. I make a

15:40 little bit of money from YouTube from

15:42 doing the videos finally after four

15:45 years. So, I still will have a little

15:47 bit of gas money hopefully coming in

15:49 through you guys purchasing t-shirts,

15:52 donating, or through Google and YouTube

15:56 making a little bit of money based on

15:58 views. It's not an exorbitant amount.

16:01 Like I was saying, actually getting this

16:03 house is actually going to save me money

16:06 because of the two other roommates

16:08 splitting everything three ways. It's

16:10 actually going to be much cheaper than

16:12 driving all the time, worrying about

16:14 getting busted by parking lot, police,

16:18 cops every night, sleeping in the back

16:20 of the van, and then purchasing hotel

16:23 rooms every night and food, which is

16:25 awesome. When I get a refrigerator right

16:28 over there in the corner, I can live off

16:30 ramen. I can live off peanut butter and

16:32 jelly sandwiches instead of going to

16:35 McDonald's to upload a video and then

16:37 saying, "Heck it. I'm going to get a Big

16:38 Mac meal. Spending 8 n 10 12 bucks on

16:41 food every day. Sometimes 20, $30 a day

16:44 on food depending on sodas and stuff. I

16:46 can stock it up in the fridge.

16:48 California has some great stores. Dollar

16:50 Tree, 99 cent stores, all those places.

16:53 Today, I'm going to load up on things

16:55 that I can actually cook in a microwave,

16:58 which is one other thing I got to get a

17:00 microwave and put it in here. I think

17:01 you get a microwave to use at a thrift

17:03 store pretty cheap. Got to get a fridge

17:05 for that corner. and then hopefully find

17:07 something to sit on. There's nothing to

17:09 sit on anywhere in this house at this

17:12 moment. And then right in here is my bed

17:15 area. This will be my bed.

17:19 That's all the clothes I need. And I

17:20 have I have a massive closet for a very

17:24 little amount of clothes. The thing I'm

17:26 most excited about is the internet. The

17:28 internet. The internet. No more

17:30 uploading problems. After today, this

17:32 will not be in HD. This will be in 360

17:35 DPI, but tomorrow 7:20 because I will be

17:39 uploading from here. What do you guys

17:42 think of this announcement? Did it take

17:44 you by surprise? Did you guys expect it?

17:46 And what do you think the next

17:48 announcement will be that ties in to me

17:52 being in California, but continuing to

17:54 travel? So many travel plans. Portland,

17:59 Oregon is only like 10 10 hours north of

18:02 here. Seattle's only like another hour

18:04 up from there and then past Seattle

18:06 another hour is Canada. Like I was

18:08 saying, I have my passport.

18:11 West Coast, Midwest, you are going to be

18:14 inundated with me as well as California,

18:17 stay tuned for a ton of filming

18:20 locations. If you guys like the filming

18:22 locations I do on my main channel, Adam

18:23 the Woo channel, which I just uploaded

18:25 the Planet of the Apes video four, five,

18:26 six days ago. I have a laundry list not

18:30 only of the daily woos in that notebook,

18:32 but also a list of probably about 10,

18:35 15, 20 or more filming locations. That's

18:39 just the tip of the iceberg. Wait till

18:41 this mine. Wait till I get going. That's

18:44 what's so funny. You switch glasses when

18:46 your back was turned. Haha, you fool.

18:49 You fell victim to one of the classic

18:50 blunders. The first is never get

18:52 involved in a land war in Asia. But only

18:55 slightly less well known is this. Never

18:58 go in against a Ciccilian when death is

19:01 on the line. Man, it's very echoey in

19:04 here. That's two Princess Bride quotes

19:07 in a row. I did one in Justin Scar's

19:09 video last night at Knottberry Farm,

19:11 which I took it upon myself to join in

19:14 on his vlog. I did a Princess Bride

19:16 quote just now. That was Vini. I love

19:18 the Princess Bride. It's going to be

19:20 very unusual to actually get a

19:21 television in here. At some point, when

19:23 I get a little bit of money, not going

19:26 towards the rent, not going through the

19:27 deposit to turn the utilities on and get

19:29 the internet connected. When I get some

19:31 money, there will be a TV over here and

19:33 I will be able to actually wa I have not

19:35 watched movies in about 4 years. All the

19:39 movie knowledge that I always quote and

19:41 movie locations that I do is all based

19:43 on my memory from the past.

19:46 So, my life is going to take a little

19:48 bit of a turn for the better. I'm hoping

19:51 for the better, and I hope you guys are

19:53 with me. 100% or at least 63% of you

19:57 guys are on board for this new adventure

20:00 in my life and exciting. I am very

20:03 excited and happy about this. I cannot

20:07 express the joy that I'm having. It's

20:09 very hard sometimes to exude that to you

20:12 guys. This is a very happy day for me.

20:15 very happy moment.
