0:05 Welcome everyone. Adam the Woo here. You
0:05 can tell from my voice that my vocal
0:08 cords are shot from riding roller
0:10 coasters yesterday and screaming like a
0:14 banshee. And then add in the fact that I
0:16 really got no sleep last night cuz I was
0:18 up late editing and uploading
0:21 yesterday's vlog.
0:23 I'm going to need some coffee. But
0:25 first, before I start today,
0:33 Wow, these Aquafina bottles don't crush
0:34 as well as other bottles. And what is
0:35 this? Is this poison ivy? It's my second
0:37 channel, daily vlog channel. Oh, that
0:39 hurts. It's
0:41 the daily woo.
1:06 This is embarrassing. I'm watching your
1:06 video.
1:07 I was giving you a wakeup call.
1:09 I'm hoping a little warm coffee from
1:11 McDonald's will help my throat a little
1:13 bit.
1:14 This guy in my way.
1:23 Move it. Who is that guy?
1:23 Is that Jacob the carpet bagger? What's
1:26 he doing here? Looks a little cloudy
1:28 today. It might rain
1:30 and that's kind of a tiein because there
1:32 is a huge gargantuan
1:35 life-size ark off on the horizon. We're
1:39 about to board a bus cuz it's a onem
1:42 trek. We get the back seat all the way
1:44 in the back. So, here's the layout of
1:46 the property. This is the Ark Encounter
1:48 map and Ararat Ridge Zoo over there.
1:51 What's an Ararat?
1:53 Well, that was based in the Bible. There
1:54 was a thing called Mount Arerat. Just
1:56 got off the bus and take a look at this.
2:01 Wow. Look at the size of that thing.
2:03 I think this opened about a month, a
2:05 month and a half ago. Do you remember
2:06 exactly when this opened?
2:07 Um,
2:09 pretty recently though, right?
2:10 Beginning beginning of July.
2:11 What makes an ark an ark and not just a
2:14 big boat?
2:15 That's a good question. Whenever I think
2:17 of ark, I think of the Bible version,
2:18 but I also think of Indiana Jones and
2:21 the Ark of the Covenant. I said, "What
2:22 is an ARK?" And it filled in the rest.
2:25 "What is an Arkansas toothpick?"
2:28 Well, what is it?
2:29 I already know what an Arkansas
2:31 toothpick is.
2:32 Is it dirty?
2:33 A little bit. It is a uh It is a
2:36 raccoon, a male raccoon's penis bone.
2:38 Here at the base of the ark, they have
2:40 these long basically long tree stump
2:44 poles. There's no signage basically on
2:46 what these are. The sheer magnitude of
2:48 this thing is very very impressive.
2:51 The ark itself is basically standing on
2:54 top of these concrete pillars. This
2:57 massive boat is being held up by these.
3:02 Also below the ark is this very large
3:05 queue which really is not there's not a
3:08 lot of people in the Q- line. And if you
3:11 look up here you can see a time lapse of
3:14 the ark being built. So that's really
3:16 cool. We can see it from stage one.
3:17 I know this is a very long walkway. How
3:20 many cubits do you think this pathway
3:23 is?
3:23 At least five.
3:24 Five. Five cubits. The time has arrived.
3:27 Now entering Noah's ark. Going through
3:31 the doors and heading into the ark
3:34 itself. The 17th day and the second
3:36 month of Noah's 600th year. Noah lived
3:41 600 years. all the fountains of the
3:44 great deep burst forth and the
3:46 floodgates of heaven open. So in the
3:48 Bible it says that they had every
3:51 animal, every species of animal on the
3:53 ark at one time. They had a male and a
3:56 female. So basically they had two of
3:59 every kind and that's what the cages and
4:01 throughout the rest of the ark where the
4:02 animals were being stored.
4:11 There definitely seems to be one heck of
4:11 a storm brewing out there.
4:18 And if you listen closely in each of the
4:18 boxes, there are different animal
4:20 noises. Like there will be a snake noise
4:23 up in here and a bird noise up in here.
4:48 They have two very large animals in this
4:48 cage. And I can't really put my finger
4:50 on what species these are.
4:53 Pterodactyls.
4:55 This is amazing.
5:24 are you playing Pokemon in the Ark?
5:24 Do you have a Wi-Fi signal in here?
5:25 I don't have Wi-Fi, but my my my cell
5:27 signal.
5:28 So, there's cell phone signal. Are you
5:29 guys playing Pokemon, too? My Pokemon
5:31 wouldn't load cuz there's not a good
5:33 So, you come all the way from Florida,
5:35 right,
5:35 to Kentucky, you buy a ticket to the Ark
5:38 and you're trying to find Pokémon.
5:39 The Ark has Wi-Fi.
5:40 Oh, cool.
5:47 And
5:47 this is what the ark would have looked
5:49 like. This is a scale model of the ark
5:51 and it shows what each room had in it
5:55 and basically the layout from the front
5:58 to the back. very bottom you have the
5:59 smaller cages for the small animals and
6:02 then the middle level the middle are the
6:04 you know mediumsiz animals and then the
6:06 very top level the third level for the
6:09 larger animals.
6:10 If you look really closely in this cage
6:12 at the very top of it there are bats
6:15 hanging from the roof.
6:16 We're now leaving the first floor and
6:18 we're going to go up to the second floor
6:19 and eventually we're going to go to the
6:22 third and it looks like the fourth
6:24 floors. This place is huge. When I was
6:26 outside earlier, I was wondering what
6:28 those tree trunks were for. Now I know
6:30 that is the base, the middle of the ark
6:33 going up. You could see those trunks
6:35 going from the bottom floor all the way
6:38 to the top. The second level has lots of
6:40 dinosaurs. Now, this woman is feeding
6:43 carrots to these dinosaur looking
6:45 creatures. This is one of the live
6:48 people who was on the ark with Noah. Oh,
6:51 look at this guy. It's like feeding time
6:53 for him.
7:07 That woman looks like she could sleep
7:07 for 40 days and 40 nights. She's
7:10 tuckered out.
7:11 He said the ark would be for me, my
7:14 wife, our sons, and our sons.
7:18 It took us several decades to build the
7:21 ark. But that was after years of
7:24 designing, collecting supplies, and
7:27 preparing the site.
7:29 There's a guy working in his workshed,
7:32 and I'm wondering if this is a younger,
7:34 more
7:36 in shape. Noah,
7:44 there is a huge door back here that
7:44 everyone's getting their picture in
7:45 front of. I'm not really sure what that
7:47 door is supposed to be. Maybe that's
7:49 where the animals were led in and out.
7:51 Heading up to level three. Wait a
7:54 second. Wait a second. What is going on
7:57 here? This is not dripping.
8:01 Yeah, the water's water dripping in
8:02 here. I'm sure that probably happened
8:04 though. I'm sure that probably happened
8:05 on the real ark. There probably leaks.
8:07 So, now we're going into where not the
8:09 animals live, but where the people who
8:11 resided on the ark lived, the living
8:14 quarters.
8:22 And this is Japheth right here who was
8:22 brothers with Shim who was over here. So
8:26 the brothers are on opposite sides.
8:29 And I'm pretty certain there was another
8:30 son of Noah's name Ham. So there's Shim,
8:32 Ham, and Japheth. I can't find Ham
8:35 anywhere.
8:35 This guy's a man after my own heart. I
8:37 love Adammy. There he is right there.
8:39 Ham. This was Ham. Wait a second.
8:43 Where's Ham? The way they knew that
8:45 there was dry land is Noah sent out this
8:48 dove. And here's a recreation of Noah
8:51 reuniting with the dove who had been out
8:54 for a week straight. And he came back
8:57 with an olive branch. And that's how
8:58 they knew they could then land the ark
9:01 on dry land.
9:07 According
9:07 to this, this book is over 400 years
9:10 old. And there is a documented photo,
9:15 a drawing of Noah's family leaving the
9:18 ark. We're down on the very bottom level
9:20 now at the gift shop area with all the
9:23 memorabilia
9:25 from the ark.
9:35 I think we have finally figured out what
9:35 a cubit is. So that is the length of a
9:37 cubit. What is that about? Probably a
9:39 foot and a half, 2 feet.
9:41 I don't know.
9:41 It's a measuring stick of a cubit.
9:45 Yeah, they have a 3D puzzle of Noah's
9:47 Ark.
9:48 Pretty cool.
9:54 Now that I have been inside the ark, I
9:54 now know what that wooden walkway is.
9:57 That is where the animals were brought
9:59 in through the side of that big door
10:01 right there on the left of the ark. So
10:05 just imagine two by two all the animals
10:08 trouncing up that wooden platform and
10:10 entering into the ark preparing for 40
10:14 days and 40 nights of unrelenting rain
10:17 and storms.
10:20 Pretty crazy. We are now leaving the ark
10:23 and heading into Zara's kitchen. for
10:27 some food. Oh, wow. There's like animals
10:30 in here as well. Look at this. This is
10:32 cool. Look at this guy. Look at this.
10:34 It's like It's like he's like I don't
10:36 know if he's angry or happy or if he's
10:38 just hungry.
10:45 It's an animal quiz on there.
10:45 Yeah.
10:46 Yeah. The bags are really awesome. They
10:48 have animal quizzes. And I ended up
10:50 getting the 2 by 2 burger, which is I
10:53 think it's two meat patties. It is two
10:56 meat patties with bacon. There are some
10:58 kangaroos over there just chilling in
11:00 the shade. It is kind of warm out here
11:02 in the sun, so I can't blame them for
11:04 taking a little break under the awning
11:06 there.
11:20 If you don't have money to take the
11:20 camel ride, there's always the
11:22 alternative.
11:23 Oh my god. piggybacking on your father's
11:26 back. I'm going to get some freshsqueeze
11:28 lemonade. Lemon tree fruit juice. And
11:31 those are the lemons right there. And
11:33 here, look at this. They fresh squeeze
11:36 it from this little this little crazy
11:38 mechanism here. Look at the size of this
11:40 lemonade. I think the proportionate size
11:42 of the glass goes with the immenseness
11:45 of the arc behind me. That thing was
11:48 super cool. Yeah. Over here on the lefth
11:50 hand side, there's Jacob. He beat us to
11:52 it. the big metal teepee. I think it
11:55 used to be a gas station or something.
11:56 Kind of looks like a dunce cap almost.
11:59 They say it's a metal teepee, but it
12:01 really is just like a big long
12:04 silver cylinder.
12:07 Oh, yeah. It's like pretty flimsy.
12:16 Little metal bed frame, some drawers.
12:16 It'd be cool to live in this metal
12:18 teepee.
12:20 I mean, it's no Ark, but this thing's
12:23 pretty cool.
12:24 What was the name of the chili place we
12:25 had yesterday?
12:26 Skyline.
12:27 So, we had Skyline Chili yesterday.
12:29 Today, we're going to follow up with our
12:31 review of Gold Star Chili. Everyone on
12:34 this mural is so happy to be eating Gold
12:37 Star chili. Gold Star Chili. And we
12:41 haven't even ordered yet, and they've
12:42 already started to bring the little
12:44 oyster crackers. We need to explore the
12:47 immensess. Oh, look at this. There
12:50 definitely are beans in this compared to
12:51 last last night's Starline.
12:54 It kind of looks like the same texture
12:56 as Skyline, but really can't can't judge
12:59 it until you taste it.
13:06 It tastes kind of similar to Skyline
13:08 chili.
13:09 Like, it tastes very similar to Skyline.
13:12 This almost tastes like it has cinnamon
13:14 in it, too.
13:15 What's your obsession with cinnamon? It
13:17 tastes It tastes exactly the same.
13:20 It doesn't have as cinnam taste, but
13:22 there is cinnamon in this.
13:25 There's got to be cinnamon in this.
13:26 Can you guys tell the difference between
13:28 the chili we had last night and this
13:30 chili?
13:30 I think I can.
13:31 I can't. Oh, sorry.
13:34 Hold on.
13:35 Good.
13:42 Yep. Less cinnamon.
13:42 Less cinnamony.
13:44 This is not not as This one's got a
13:46 little bit more spice
13:47 and it's not as sweet as Skyline Chili.
13:49 So, you could tell the difference if
13:50 they were side by side and you were
13:52 blindfolded.
13:53 You'd be able to tell which was which.
13:54 I could I could give you I could say
13:56 that's gold star. This one's
13:57 Which do you prefer though? That's the
13:59 thing.
13:59 Gold star.
14:00 Prefer gold star.
14:01 I want to challenge you for that
14:02 blindfold test cuz I don't believe you.
14:04 They taste very similar.
14:06 Would you be able to tell the
14:07 difference?
14:07 No, I really wouldn't.
14:08 They taste very similar. I mean,
14:10 obviously this has beans in it, so I
14:12 know this is definitely the Gold Star.
14:13 Okay, my review of the chili. I prefer
14:16 Gold Star over the other one. Just
14:18 barely.
14:20 Even though I probably couldn't tell a
14:21 difference in a taste test. Maybe it was
14:24 because of these oyster crackers. But if
14:26 I had to make a decision right now at
14:28 this current time, I would say Gold Star
14:31 chili comes out victorious.
14:33 I think I like Gold Star a little bit
14:35 better. A little bit.
14:36 I would agree with that, but it was so
14:38 close. Like it was it would be like a
14:40 what do they call that? Like a hair
14:42 Oh, like a split decision. No.
14:44 Or like you know when they do like the
14:45 the video where they like have to slow
14:47 it down to see who won.
14:48 Photo finish.
14:48 The nose. Right. The nose.
14:50 There's one by a nose.
14:51 Ah, look at that sunset.
14:54 Kentucky sunset.
14:57 So beautiful.
14:59 This would be a pretty good time to say
15:03 log over.
