0:11 but I am heading hopefully fingers
0:14 crossed to Atlanta Georgia I have a
0:17 flight out of MCO Orlando International
0:19 to Atlanta at 4 30 p.m and I just
0:24 checked and the flight has not been
0:27 postponed or gotten rid of yet and moved
0:30 to another day so this hurricane that at
0:34 this present moment has gone up the
0:37 coast and is going across not really the
0:40 Panhandle but in that little that little
0:42 uh we call it like a little not shoulder
0:45 but an armpit of Florida going across
0:49 from one side to the other like past
0:51 Tallahassee which would be in the flight
0:54 path of Atlanta so it's going to be a
0:57 very interesting day I I have a I don't
0:59 I'm not a betting man but if I was I
1:01 would have originally yesterday thought
1:03 I was going to wake up today and the
1:05 flight was not going to happen and that
1:08 still could be a possibility no matter
1:10 what happens I go to the airport might
1:13 have to come back here later this
1:15 evening might have to get the room at
1:17 the hotel there's a hotel at the airport
1:19 I could book that if the flight does not
1:20 happen
1:22 I'm just gonna see see where the day
1:24 goes and I'm inviting you to just a long
1:27 intro to join me it's raining on me
1:29 shall you yep once again hopefully
1:32 leaving town well I'm leaving town I
1:34 don't know if it'll be today but I would
1:36 imagine it will be today leaving town
1:37 once again and hitting the skies and the
1:41 roads got a quite a few places I'm going
1:43 to be going over the next uh I don't
1:45 know let's call it five weeks or so and
1:46 just to be on the precautious side they
1:48 have tied up the chairs here so they
1:50 don't blow away and I want I don't want
1:52 to say there's any surf or any kind of
1:54 wake or anything but this is a little
1:56 more ripply than it usually is I imagine
1:59 cool is finding a nice little cubby hole
2:02 to relax in so I'm going to say goodbye
2:04 to celebration for a little while I mean
2:07 who knows I might end up being back over
2:09 here later this evening but I'm hoping
2:11 that it all goes well where I will be in
2:14 Atlanta later on at some point this
2:16 evening and just to clarify the main
2:19 bulk of the storm has already passed by
2:21 this area
2:22 the problem is
2:24 I'm going to be in the flight path of
2:27 where parts of it will be so will the
2:30 plane be rerouted
2:31 will the flight take place another time
2:34 or well everything like will I go
2:38 directly over it well they fly over it I
2:40 don't know yeah I got the this this is
2:43 actually pretty smart you just don't
2:44 want the wind blowing all the chairs
2:45 over like this
2:47 so it never a lot of the Hurricanes will
2:49 usually go across through Tampa they
2:52 will go either from the west or the east
2:55 coast of Florida
2:56 and across central Florida but this time
3:00 we just got some outer bands here in
3:02 Central Florida yesterday I drove down
3:03 to Miami and back up it didn't get a
3:05 whole asleep last night I also weighed
3:07 myself today it looks like Celebration
3:09 Town Tavern has got the little plastic
3:12 up to just keep the elements out of
3:14 anyone that's eating over there so the
3:17 but yeah I weighed myself today for the
3:18 first time in a while and I am content
3:21 I thought I was going to lose a little
3:23 bit more but I have been hitting the gym
3:24 lifting a little bit of weights and they
3:26 say that when you lift weights it adds a
3:28 little bit of muscle but I have lost a
3:30 good chunk of pounds a lot of standing
3:34 water around here
3:36 so this here is the completed well not
3:40 completed because I hit the gym today
3:41 I'm not stopping I'm continuing on
3:45 part of the reason I didn't get a lot of
3:46 slumbers I got back at like 2 30 last
3:48 night
3:50 and got up early hit the gym and now I'm
3:53 heading to drop my car off and then head
3:55 to the airport but here's when I started
3:56 the weight loss so back in April I was
3:58 at 260 pounds which is the heaviest I've
4:01 been probably in the last couple of
4:02 years needed to do something about that
4:04 I dropped nine pounds then I dropped
4:06 three more pounds then I kind of went on
4:08 a little a little a mission if you will
4:11 and I lost down to 237 started gaining a
4:15 few back I didn't want to weight myself
4:16 I felt so you know just didn't feel good
4:18 about myself so I didn't weigh myself
4:20 and then I started this 50 day thing and
4:22 now this morning I am at 2 16.0
4:31 so I started at 260. I have lost 44
4:31 pounds since April 19th and 21 pounds
4:35 since my last weigh-in
4:37 heck yeah yeah just double checked
4:40 flight at this moment still good to go
4:42 it's only noon
4:43 according to my parents for a little bit
4:46 before going to the airport
4:48 so I got some time
4:51 it'd be amazing if this thing actually
4:53 gets off the ground today
4:56 all right I've been at my parents for a
4:57 little while I got this alert a while
4:59 back my flight was going to take off at
5:01 4 30. 628
5:07 so I have it in the left to go to the
5:07 airport yet
5:12 but the flight that's coming down from
5:12 Atlanta
5:14 has not even left Atlanta so basically
5:16 it's a back and forth because the storm
5:18 right now is just
5:20 the tail end outer bands is just under
5:22 Atlanta so I think it's going to
5:24 probably even be laid more delayed more
5:26 than 6 28. so keep in mind this has been
5:29 pushed back two hours originally 4 30
5:31 was the takeoff now it's 6 28.
5:36 358 at the moment so you go to where is
5:39 my plane which is kind of neat that you
5:41 can do this
5:42 and it's going to show where the plane
5:43 is still sitting on the tarmac up there
5:45 in Atlanta
5:47 a waiting takeoff so I've been following
5:49 this for a little bit it was supposed to
5:51 take off at 3 32 and then get to MCO at
5:54 533 to prepare for cleaning and then
5:56 everyone else to get on and take off
5:58 back to Atlanta at 6 28. but it's still
6:02 sitting hasn't even gotten on the runway
6:04 yet a waiting takeoff a half hour after
6:07 it's supposed to take off so this this
6:08 is going to get pushed back
6:10 even even more so it's not even probably
6:13 going to land till 6 30 which means I'm
6:15 probably not even at this moment not
6:16 even going to take off till
6:18 7 30 if I even leave it all and the main
6:20 problem is this the hurricane that is
6:23 heading off that direction so it gets us
6:25 kind of heading a northeastish
6:28 so you still got these outer bands of
6:30 the hurricane so a plane obviously does
6:32 not or cannot or should not fly directly
6:35 south
6:37 to land down here
6:40 I got my celebration punched in there
6:43 but then that's going to turn around and
6:44 go back up so this needs to keep making
6:47 its way over
6:49 because I originally I don't want to fly
6:51 over that you don't want to fly through
6:52 it so they're waiting waiting for that
6:54 to move before the plane that's up here
6:56 heads down to Orlando and then back up
7:00 I think I think I'm going to get there
7:02 tonight but it might be it might be a
7:03 lady whoa and as I was stating that went
7:06 back to the
7:07 where's my plane and it is in route and
7:10 they are taking a different look look at
7:11 this they're going around to Tuscaloosa
7:14 they're just going to bypass it
7:16 completely they're not even going to go
7:18 straight South they're going to go west
7:19 and then down across Dothan
7:23 and then down
7:24 look they're just gonna look at this is
7:26 and then they're going to cut across
7:27 they're just not messing around with
7:29 this thing I'm gonna go across
7:31 Tallahassee they're not even going to
7:33 fly straight South
7:35 they're taking kind of a
7:37 a different approach to heading down but
7:40 it's in Flight all right
7:42 I think I must start heading to the
7:43 airport
7:45 all right a little windy here at MCO not
7:48 too bad
7:49 obviously the storm is way past here
7:51 got the control tower up there
8:00 it's off and now
8:00 we're gonna head in

8:06 actually a lot of actually more than

8:10 all in a row or delayed

8:26 originally was going to depart at 435
8:26 now departing at 6 22.

8:35 happening though I can handle delays as

8:39 getting out tonight
8:45 looks like it's gonna happen flight 2625

8:47 Delta Airlines gate number 74 is where I
8:51 gotta go I was thinking maybe if the
8:53 flight didn't happen I would just rent a
8:55 room right here that way I'd have to go
8:56 back home and that way
8:58 if the flight got rerouted or changed or
9:02 another airline this is the one I had
9:05 didn't happen I could just be right here
9:07 but it looks like I'm not gonna have to
9:09 go that mode
9:12 right here wet floor
9:14 so the celebration Fountain was not on
9:16 earlier because it was kind of rainy
9:20 this morning the fountain wasn't on but
9:23 it is on in here
9:29 indoors inside MCO Orlando International
9:29 Airport there's like a geyser right

9:49 what do you think's worse a banana peel
9:49 or wet floor probably a wet floor but if
9:51 the banana peel was here
9:53 that would make it double dangerous I
9:55 ended up going through the checkpoint as
9:57 a new machine didn't have to take my
9:58 laptop out of the bag you'd have to take
10:00 the shoes off and belt off put the belt
10:02 back on already everything went in a bin
10:04 including
10:06 main main bag in this and everything but
10:09 yeah you could leave everything like the
10:11 laptop could stay in the bag pretty nice

12:25 looks like I am going to be getting on a

12:34 goes to show you just never know just
12:34 shy of 5 20 which means the plane is
12:37 going to be taking off in just about an
12:41 hour away so it's delayed no no no okay
12:45 delays okay 618. so it should be
12:47 boarding in half hour about 20 minutes
12:50 and then taking off in an hour I ended
12:52 up forgetting to bring any gum and MCO
12:54 Orlando International as one of those
12:56 airports that I do not
12:58 sell gum out I always like a chew gum on
13:01 takeoff and land it keeps my ears from
13:02 popping but not gonna happen today gonna
13:04 happen again just you know Altoids and
13:06 Mentos quite a bit of condensation here
13:09 on the window that you can kind of look
13:11 out there you can kind of see one of the
13:13 planes there but the difference in the
13:14 weather temperature outside versus
13:16 inside creates this condensation right
13:18 on the side of the window itself yeah
13:22 you can't really see it out there but I
13:24 think that might be my plane it's not
13:26 that where there's a lot of
13:29 condensation there on the window you can
13:32 kind of see it over there see if I can
13:34 get a better angle
13:52 it's out there it's much clearer of you
13:52 of gate 75 getting ready to do a
13:55 pushback here
13:56 more or less of this you see the pilots
13:59 getting all ready there
14:02 yeah
14:06 I think they're getting ready to do the
14:06 pushback from 75. I'm gonna witness the
14:08 pushback
14:09 I wonder how many I didn't see any
14:13 anything on the board about nothing that
14:15 was completely canceled but
14:18 definitely a lot of delays
14:20 talking to a guy online a little
14:23 checkpoint line he said his flight was
14:24 to
14:25 he said his flight was pushed back like
14:27 four or five hours today too he's not
14:28 he's going to Vegas
14:30 so evidently not just Atlanta I don't
14:33 know why the one going to Vegas would
14:34 have been
14:35 could have been postponed but weather
14:39 everywhere but the lights are blinking
14:41 it's going forward
14:43 backward making the connection the
14:46 connection's already been made and now
14:47 the pushback is happening
14:50 so for what I've always heard a plane
14:52 just never go in reverse by its own
14:54 accord it's always pushed back with one
14:56 of his little tugboats tug Vehicles tug
15:00 car vehicles
15:02 and then once it gets back to the
15:04 certain point the jet engines are what
15:07 pushes the plane forward but reverse
15:09 this reason or maybe they're not capable
15:12 of backing up or just they don't want to
15:15 utilize the fuel or the burning the
15:18 engine out they go backwards I don't
15:20 know it's layman's terms I actually
15:21 don't know what I'm talking about at all
15:22 but I just know when a plane goes in
15:24 reverse it always is pushed back by this
15:26 little tug tug thing
15:34 pretty cool
15:34 scheduled 4 30 p.m actual 6 18.

15:44 at all to be honest pretty content this
15:46 thing is going to get off the ground and
15:48 it's even happening

16:41 rollerboard who's placing in the
16:42 overhead Bend those are handles first
16:44 and then I'm inside like a book in the
16:45 bookshelf this will help us accommodate
16:47 as many times as possible on today's
16:48 flight we do ask that you please take
16:50 your assigned seat today the flight will
16:53 be somewhat light but we do actually so
16:56 I can see we're waiting balance issues

17:00 for the amount of aircraft that can fly
17:03 on North and South and for that reason
17:04 this aircraft was delayed on its inbound
17:06 bound flight from Atlanta good news is
17:09 uh most of the hurricane effects are uh
17:12 to the northeast of our route we're
17:14 going to be planning to fly out west of
17:16 the weather looks like a pretty good
17:17 ride a very quick one hour 10 minutes of
17:19 flight time
17:20 uh there are some outer bands of the uh
17:23 hurricane that currently uh have some
17:24 storms north of Atlanta as of right now
17:26 it looks like Atlanta is going to stay
17:28 clear but if that changes will of course
17:29 update you and we'll be uh keeping you
17:31 safe and away from the weather again one
17:33 hour 10 minutes of flight time we'll
17:34 update you uh once Airborne with the
17:35 accurate arrival time into Atlanta to

29:35 through here at a very quick pace and
29:37 it's not just one room like this you go
29:39 from here caution moving Sidewalk Ends

30:23 the MARTA train I've opted to take this
30:26 we're taking a lot of trains from here
30:28 to downtown so oh got the gator right
30:37 I have to take the plane train to get
30:37 over to where the station is
31:17 I have arrived here many many times and
31:17 it is I don't think it's a tradition but
31:18 I've I've gone to the store on more than
31:21 one occasion to get Dunkin Donuts and
31:23 I'm going to do that again right now
31:25 kind of sort of a church got all the
31:27 merchandise in here got my coffee
31:31 regular coffee a little cream of sugar
31:33 maybe I should get some Peach Atlanta
31:35 Georgia Peach body mist
31:39 of fun
31:45 but it smells pretty good too with some
31:45 glycerin soap with shea butter
31:49 oh and this spoon here has Georgia

32:12 other entrance access to access the
32:15 station
32:26 going on with this roof here so I guess
32:26 I should walk down there and see if

34:10 card one way didn't get a breeze car
34:13 just got a freeze ticket
34:16 it will take me down to where I gotta go

34:21 15 20 minute ride on the old martyr
34:24 getting pretty familiar with flying into
34:50 pick up a drop-off area here no smoking
34:50 under the airport side
34:52 and with the try one of the trains going
34:54 by that's not the MARTA that is the just
34:56 the train to get you around the airport
34:57 take a look at that thumbs up
35:12 and I believe both lines of the MARTA
35:12 will take you to downtown then they
35:15 Branch off but where I'm going
35:18 I can just take either one of the lines
35:21 we're having the next train arrives
35:25 downtown
35:27 my hotel it is now raining see the rain
35:31 coming down there
35:44 so the rain is coming down and here
35:44 comes one of the train lines we're gonna
35:47 hop on this right here
37:24 as you know you're in downtown Atlanta
37:24 when you are on
37:27 the
37:28 gargantuan
37:30 extremely tall
37:32 huge
37:34 escalator to the street level
37:38 look at this thing
37:46 it was one year three or four years ago
37:46 a couple years ago but this thing was
37:49 broken I didn't want to wait for the the
37:51 elevator which is on the other side of
37:53 the MARTA station exit
37:55 and I walked up it with all my luggage
37:57 and that was a mistake I got to the top
38:00 and I thought wow I'm really out of
38:02 shape
38:03 much easier when it's working
38:05 we're taking the elevator that time but
38:07 I didn't so I was hiking up with this
38:09 and my backpack
38:11 hoofing up
38:13 846 steps
38:22 yeah you know you've arrived
38:22 off to Marta Station
38:25 in Atlanta when you're on this
38:40 oh I'm just walking around okay thank
38:40 you though
39:12 that's gonna do it for today
39:12 I have made it to Atlanta
39:15 I I gotta be honest I was not 100 sure I
39:19 would end up
39:21 with the storm that rolled through this
39:23 area
39:24 I didn't think I was going to be landing
39:26 I didn't think the plane was going to
39:27 land here but it did I'll see you in the
